BUT THE BENZ Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 lel....at first I was like OP, 'see no hear no speak no', but now I wanna take a look at all the screens released so far so I can think of how great the game will be and even have images to relate to. Not much more trailers please, I'd say. Yeah it's crazy to ask for R* to stop doing those great 2 minute clips, but I don't want much more story spoiled really. Thats my biggest fear. Having the story spoiled. Looking at how the desert will look like or what a certain car looks like etc...isn't bad at all. Story spoilers are though. Rockstar, release a 100 more screenshots and we won't even need the game. these screenshots are doing totally the opposite of making the game less enigmatic and captivating... One, it's keeping this forum more active like it should be, and two, it's actually letting us know that rockstar listened to us and they want us to see how much work is being put into the game to make it as enjoyable as possible. It has to suck having someone holding a gun to thier heads forcing them to look at screenshot after screenshot and ruinning thier GTA experience. Anyway I think Rockstar been doing it wrong, they already released 80+ screenshots which is great, but they're doing it in the wrong way. Instead of releasing batches of 10+ screenshots each time, they could release 1 new screenshot each day... increasing their incoming traffic, keeping people hype high and giving them something to talk about everyday (5 days a week). They released 12 screenshots in just one day, that could have been done during two weeks and people would be happy the same way, with daily updates on Newswire and wouldn't need much work from their staff. R* fans even want to boycott becuase lack of info. Before anyone says "I want the game to be secret" r* already said they hold some back for surprise and they only have showen a little bit. Thing with those batch of screenshots is they were necessary for the upcoming previews. R* have always provided a number of screens to the media for articles. I imagine the stream of screenshots will slow down after these batch of magazines and previews are done. Magic_Al Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 I surprised myself by checking on how many official GTA IV screenshots there are for comparison and the number kept on the official IV site is 126. There are almost that many GTAV screenshots now. The real number of IV shots is higher including additional ones released as exclusives to publications and extras ones buried on the official site to illustrate things like Sprunk or Bean Machine. Plus there are another couple hundred for TLAD, TBOGT, and PC versions, but those were all post-GTA IV's release obviously. So we are getting a lot of GTAV screenshots.
