would you like to keep the wanted area on the map that iv added or go back to the old school way of the pay n spray? (i know you can use the pay n spray in iv but it was not the same imo) you cannot have both as an option its either the NEW SYSTEM area on map and pay n spray(which is now alot less important) OR THE OLD system with JUST the pay n spray and no area on map! why cant people understand that?

Wanted area on map. I hate the fact that I know i'm driving around with 1 star and I see no cops what so ever in sight. It also feels like it takes forever to get rid of it too.

Pay N Spray ALL THE WAY!

It's a classic, and it feel's good to get away from the Cops, as well it seems more Realistic.

Erm... both?

IV got it right... kinda. breaking line of sight is the key - and i think V will nail it. Say you're heading east. You turn a corner, and head north. The cops lag a bit so they lose sight of you. Now you duck down an alley (west) and backtrack. The cops will turn North but carry on that way, and you can head south or west and evade them.

In that sense, wanted area.

but if you break LOS, nip into a pay n spray.... you lose the cops.

Simple.

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

No 'Both' choice? Poll sucks. .

no because that's not the question what im asking is keep the new system (wanted area and also pay n spray but i personally never used it in iv) or go back to the old simple way of JUST pay n spray without the area system. both is basically the area system perhaps i worded it wrong though.

panic.gif you make it sound sick

definitely wanted system on map seeing as you can now evade them inside the wanted area - however I hope those rumors about them still searching for you for 48 hours or whatever if you reach 4 stars are true! sounded good

The wanted area in IV was much better IMO. It will be improved in V, so I'm happy about that. I just hope you can hide(within the wanted area) and lose your wanted level.

Blah blah blah blah. Tell it to the judge, punk.

Kill Frenzy!

Is Pay N Spray confirmed? I mean, we have car customisation now, which you can obviously change the color of your car, so I guess Pay N Spray doesn't fit anymore.

The pay-n-spray was better in IV since you couldn't use it while you were in the authority's line of sight. The pay-n-spray system from the III-era was just retarded, as were the nonsensical "police bribes". IV gave you the most strategic variety for evading wanted levels and it already sounds like the IV system has been tweaked for the better in V.

Both. If they get rid of the GTA IV wanted zone for some reason I won't buy the game.

I think GTA V handles this perfect. You have a wanted area, BUT you can hide from the cops still when you are in that area and then try to find a way out. That makes it much more believable and fun.

to be able to hide in buildings out of the LoS to lose cops in same wanted area

Do you think they would have dissolved the blockade around Boston if the bombers had hidden themselves in a house in Boston?

Is that a typo? Because it seems to me this is pretty much how GTA IV works.

There is a difference because in GTA IV the cops seem to automatically know where you are when you are in the wanted area. Hiding is impossible.
