crispyominus
Long time lurker first time posting here. Tried searching for this but couldn't find it anywhere. So if it's already been covered I apologize. I am curious about 1 thing with GTAV. In GTAIV there were vehicles that were in singleplayer that were not in multiplayer as well as vehicles that were in multiplayer but not in singleplayer. I really hope that's not the case with this one. I want every vehicle that is in the singleplayer to be in the multiplayer as well. I always hated having to put the traffic on parked just to be able to get the Rancher to spawn at the Triangle Club. Not really sure why that was the case with IV but hopefully in V it will not be an issue.
richard1997jones
Hi, firstly welcome to the gta forum. I know just what you mean, I hated that because the comet, my favourite car was in single player and not in multiplayer I guess they wanted more variety in multiplayer. crispyominus
I know that if you did the party mode that all the cars are in there but you always spawn at the dock/warehouse on the north end of the third island. In Free Roam though it was as if they cut almost 25% of the available cars. I remember times driving around in free roam for an hour at least trying to find a Futo GT. I can understand making some cars hard to find or rare but to not have them in the multiplayer at all really didn't make sense to me
DownwardGoose
Honestly, I believe that if they keep multiplayer 100% the same it will be perfection.
Fail_At_GTA
Cars always spawned in cycles, which I think took 45 minutes to see the car again. That has always bothered me. I wish every single car would spawn in multiplayer, it really needs a bigger variety.
ainsz
I hated this too. My theory was that in GTA IV, Rockstar inserted more 4 seater cars, vans and such, as opposed to better performing 2 seaters in a way to encourage teamwork.
Grove Street Balla
they should be custom-spawned when you have something like a party mode in V

GTA_La_Costra_Nostra
Yeah I feel like in V it will be such an giant map that in order to find certain cars you have to go certain places, for country-like vehicles you'd go to the countryside, for high-class cars you'd have to go to Rodeo, low-riders into the ghetto and ect. Multiplayer will be no different in my opinion, they'll attempt to put every care they can in, you just have to seek it out. And once you do, your more likely to be cautious if you would like to keep that car.
MizzouRah16
I liked the multiplayer in GTA:IV way better than the multiplayer in RDR. Posse's ruined it, games were always too quiet, everything seemed dead. Free Roam in GTA IV is as much fun as I've ever had in multiplayer and I hope to God they don't change much in it. It's actually the other way around for me. There NOTHING to do in GTA IV's multiplayer. It gets boring nearly as fast as Call of Duty, which is rare. RDR, on the other hand, was amazing. Always a ton of sh*t to do. Land Grab, Gang Hideouts, Hunting, screwing around with Law Enforcement with your posse... I loved that, and I honestly hope R* finds a way to mix both games' multiplayer to create the ultimate GTA V experience.

There was plenty to do in Free Mode if you used your ideas to have fun, RDR was more restricted. For example you had to unlock guns which was a bitch to get when all you could do was gang hideouts to rank up.

No you can't GTA IV didn't have posses, Land Grab, Public Enemy, TRANSPORT TO GET AROUND THE F'ING MAP QUICKER, or challenges. There wasn't anything to do in GTA IV's Free Mode other than getting into a helicopter. After that, your fun was pretty much over. RDR was not restricted at all. Unlocking guns was made to challenge the player, and you could still pick up other guns. In addition to that, in GTA IV, when you die after picking up a new gun you will lose it and have to get the gun all over again. That didn't happen in RDR. And no, Gang Hideouts was not the only way to level up. You level up from everything you do. Gang Hideouts was just the fastest way.

Or rewarding skilled players and not low lives who play all day. You don't need something scripted for it to be there, can't believe people are this ignorant. Have you ever even played it? No. I can see that you haven't played RDR. Public Enemy is someone with a bounty on their head. Kill them you will gain a huge bonus. No... That's just stupid. Well, I hope the same thing. I would rather buy weapons than unlock them. The LeMat Revolver was my favorite weapon in the game and took so f*cking long to unlock. I kind of hated that... That's wrong. Your idea of Land Grab being equivalent to fighting with people over the airport is just sad and ignorant itself. That's like saying Free Mode and Deathmatch are the same. gta5freemode4eva
I want all the single player vehicles + weapons etc (I'll just say stuff)... I want all the single player stuff to be available in online free-mode too. I too was scratching my head thinking "Well where the bloody hell is my Comet?"... I also want customisation to be included. I would love to tune my 4x4 (Land Rover), link a trailer up to it, stick a quad bike on it and head out to find some hard hills to overcome. This would be heaven for me I tell ya A friendly free-mode or option would be cool too. I like chilling most the time, I do make people 'go dead' sometimes as my nephew would say, but that is self prtoection. Most the time I'm chillin in free-mode and with 5 we're gonna have a LOT to take in I have never been this excited for a game. lol

I have played RDR. Land grab is basically fighting over an area then press a button to grab it. And there is not much difference with the public enemy. Who cares if you got a bonus for killing him it's still the same. But I do agree with mixing the two free modes, but replacing the levels with a multiplayer economy.
