The party ended up in riots and not enough policemen (500) to handle the situation properly. There were definitely more than 1000 people there. Not sure how many. A girl's 16th birthday party ended in violence after her Facebook invite went viral and was received by 30,000 people.Thousands of uninvited guests arrived for the bash after the teenager mistakenly sent what should have been a private message to thousands. And events turned ugly with revellers clashing with police in the small town of Haren in Holland on Friday night. Up to 600 riot police fought running battles with youths intent on causing trouble. Shops were vandalized and looted, a car set on fire, and street signs and lampposts damaged, according to reports. Six people were hurt, including three seriously, and 34 were arrested in the clashes. Doesn't sound that much fun to me.
