Since I haven't seen a similar poll I was wondering how much do you intend to spend on crews considering that you might use them in future heists if they survive. Do you prefer a highly skilled crew who demand a bigger cut, or you just try to do the best job with the 3 main characters giving little importance on the crew you have?

I'm going to try a cheap crew first & see how it goes. If it works I'll save a lot of money, and if it fails hopefully it'll fail in an interesting way. that_guy2057_evilgrin.gif

I'm going cheap. I don't mind shooting it out with the police if it means more moolah.

all we need is 3 main characters and other side characters like Lamar or Ron.

I can imagine Lamar, Jimmy, and Ron being always available even if you've gotten everybody else killed. High cost and low skill though.

Im not going to hire a pro as a wheelman for the heist. It's a three man job. No matter what. These three protagonists got the skills.

I'm going to do cheap one's first. Then once i get the hang of it, i'll start moving onto the higher level and hiring pro's.

I'll hire the most expensive ones, just to see how good their AI is. I'll spend years on this game; plenty of time to earn cash.

I will not spend money for the best crew in all of heists. I will keep a balance and spend a reasonable amount. My first priority will be how much profit I make in the first playthrough.

It also depends on the approach though. Why would anyone get an expensive getaway driver or expensive muscle guy when you are going for a stealth mission.

When I replay the heist missions I will definitely go for the cheapest crew and try to pull the major heists with them.

I'm going to do what The Joker did in TDK. I'm going to buy expensive help, but kill them off before the mission is completely over so I don't have to pay them.

I'm thinking I can probably get away with skimping on drivers / muscle and concentrate spending money on technical like safe crackers etc.

I'll try out lots of different approaches anyway to get a feel for what works best or is most fun (once I have money to burn).

Im pretty sure R* will make sure we wont be able to do the Joker thing. It would make heists easier which means easy money for us.

I think they will add something like, no matter they die or live you will have to pay their cuts. If they die their cuts go to their families. Or something like that.

You only get the amount you were shown when you made decisions prior to the heist. Decisions like what kind of a crew, car, approach you are going for which will add/subtract amount from the total $$$ you are going for and show you your cut in the end.

If R* does something like that then, when/if you kill your crew members you will not gain anything but rather lose a crew member who could have been ranked higher in the next mission. Plus it makes more sense with the whole high risk = high reward thing they are going with here.

I'm going to spend as much money as I need to, just to make it fun. I'll definitely get a ton of practice until I'm skilled enough to rob a f*cking bank myself...

i'm lone wolf myself and i like to do all the job alone!...even using three characters sounds like a bad idea to me! its very principal to me! When i'll HAVE TO switch to another character - i will off course (like if i had a choice...), but i'll switch between characters as less as possible! I already have my favorite - Trevor and i don't need anyone else! thats actually one of the reasons why i never take any followers with me in games like Fallout or Elder Scrolls! They're especially useless when you develop pure stealth based character!

No need to spend big bucks on a heist crew, so I'll try and balance the budget on these guys.
