73duster
They suck IRL. Brakes overheat in minutes if under stress of any police chase, or just any car chase. Probably tolerable in the game, though. STFU An old SS, Mustang, or even a Charger didn't have those issues if properly taken care of. As usual, You don't know shiz. They don't even hold a candle to the performance of supercars today. You're just clinging on to old-fashioned tastes and sentiments while technology paves the way for the newer and far better. Now you'll argue again by making it personal claiming that I don't know shiz to validate anything you don't have. I've owned MANY musclecars in my life, and I have customized many of them for higher performance. There are ENDLESS options to improve "old" cars, and make them supercars. Anyone who has any knowledge of high performance cars knows that you are only limited by your wallet. Of course a 250,000 dollar exotic supercar will be supreme when it comes to performance, but it's a little bit ignorant to simply disregard older musclecars as being for people who are "clinging on" to the past. 73duster
Here's MY car. It's no McLaren, Lamborghini or Ferrari, but it's MINE, and I didn't have to mortgage my house to purchase it, and modify it. I have changed the camshaft, added long tube headers, heavy duty half shafts, and had it custom tuned. It now puts out 550 horsepower, and sounds great. Total investment: $48,000. Stop comparing supercars that most people couldn't afford in a lifetime, to American musclecars that most can realistically own, and modify. Apples and oranges. It's a f*cking beast. It also reminds me of Bumblebee lol Nice modification

I hate the new cameros, but lord have mercy on my soul that is a beautiful piece of work. I have a '69 SS with a 529 big block engine that me and my grandfather built together. (The engine isn't street legal, we have black market parts in it) its a screamer.

Bottom line is everyone has different taste in cars... some people prefer the 'super cars' some people prefer 'muscle cars' and so on... Personally I prefer to drive everything Pre 1985ish, I feel stuff these days looks to similar, cars look too much like heaps of plastic too! Yea supercars go quick, we all know that but i'd buy Star Wars if I wanted to drive something that looked like a spaceship! I'm just glad I have the Peyote and Tornado to play around with... 1960s American cars with fins! back when America knew how to make cars!!! Sad it was added in TBOGT instead of TLAD. Can't wait to try the Ford Mustang Boss lookalike and the new Phoenix, and finally superchanging the Dukes. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3408/364609..._3c11859890.jpg Edited May 9, 2013 by DarkKingBernard
boxmonster
They were undriveable in GTA IV but I loved the sabre back in the 3d era Muscles cars were way harder to drive before IV, at least in SA. Bump into anything and you'd spin out.

Kifflom112
Yeah man, I'm digging the classic muscle cars. The 60's GTO, Sabre GT, Tornado, Vigero, etc. I cannot wait to drive them down a country road, enjoying the wheelspin and oversteer.

Kifflom112
The muscle car next to Michael in the Vinewood screen is not a Tampa. It's the back end of the GTO knockoff from Franklin's trailer. Go compare them and it'll match up.
