zhrooms
Also I've already planned that I'm going to photocopy the Map. Place the R* one on the wall beside the TV. Then i'll use the photocopy to put down notes of where things are e.g. Sub, Sultan RS, etc Hm, just brainstorming now but imagine taking a painting with a glass cover or like two pieces of thin glass, put a high resolution photocopy of the map under or between the glass, then place for example a rubber list around it so it's easier to handle, you could then use a thin whiteboard pen and write stuff on the glass which would easily be removable with a eraser if you need to do an adjustment. Very cheap and highly effective.

Official General
It's funny how i'm the only one here playing on a 19 inch Sanyo Flatscreen. I hate my life. I play my PS3 on my Sony Bravia 20 inch, and I prefer it that size. Graphics actually look better and more detailed on smaller TVs, they look less grainy and pixelated. visionist
panasonic zt60 60 inch plasma on down payment I hate you! What are the prices like in your country? UK is 4000 Pounds. i would say insane considering it's very limited in sweden aswell What's it like making down payments for appliances like TVs? I usually pay in one go, but there's no hope I can afford that- I don't even have a job right now. in sweden you can go down payment on everything with no loss you can cut apart the payment just because you don't feel like paying it all at once when you're ready you can pay it all off at once or whatever you want as long as it's over the decided monthly pay so you can decide to pay half of it off the first month so it's alot of freedom i am very very very very very very picky with picture i own crt monitors thats why i chose plasma over led as it's close to crt technology and the zt60 is the best plasma tv you can get now so i don't care how long i have to pay it off i am also a BIG fan of japanese technology The ZT looks fantastic. Apparently it's got better black levels than a Pioneer Kuro- but with modern thermal & energy efficiency. It'll come with a signed certificate of exclusivity too. I wish I could afford one. I actually bought a used 55" VT30, for The Dark Knight Rises & Dredd Blus, which arrived with a smashed screen. I was heartbroken. My little 42" Toshiba LCD is hardly cutting edge now... My Pioneer 5.1 player has stopped accepting discs too, I have to play them on the PS3 and pipe the audio via optical, which isn't Dolby HD... First world problems. Now I've moved to Italy and finding a job here is like winning the lottery...

Aborted_Fetus
Ok. This is just my perfect way to play V for the first time. Normally when I get a new game I just pop it in my console and start. There's no real special setup but I think for V it deserves something special. I've got a 42 samsung lcd. Not sure what model though. (Bought it a while ago). But if I had the money I would invest in a home theater with 7.1 surround sound. (Any of you guys who have this are damn lucky) I would take at least one week off for myself just for this game. No work. Nothing to distract you. It helps if you live by yourself but if you live with other people tell them your going on 'vacation' and if they don't understand the awesomeness you want to be alone with, move out or tell them to get lost. Anyway back to the home theater. Start in the morning. After a good breakfast start that baby up. Have plenty of snacks and drinks nearby. Play the first few missions just to get the feel of the story. Then start with some free roam. By afternoon, have some lunch. Then a few more missions. By early evening stop. I like to give myself a rest. I'm not a 24/7 gamer. When it gets late at night, MULTIPLAYER! Deathmatch, freeroam etc with your friends. The next day, do it all over again This whole post makes me salivate in anticipation. V is truly going to deserve a special ritual. When I get home I plan on lovingly removing the plastic wrap, opening the game case and breathing in the sweet smell of new (as I do with every game, but this will be special). I'll read every word on the back of the case, feed the disc to my hungry ps3, kick back in my leather loveseat (with cupholders!), pop open a Red Bull and drool at the sight of the opening Rockstar logos. Once in control of the characters, my cousin and I will pilot a plane as Trevor and go kamikaze on some cows (please let there be cows) while listening to the opera station. After that, anything goes.
Tashan
How are you preparing for GTA V? I already have PS3 and every possible stuff to run except the time to play. IMO it's a very wrong time to release as Sept-Nov is the most hectic time for me on the job
