UK is 4000 Pounds. i would say insane considering it's very limited in sweden aswell What's it like making down payments for appliances like TVs? carloff1212
I'm f*cking waiting like everyone else. There's no preparation that's necessary? f*cking Christ, I swear a thread like this crops up every day... Get out then if you have nothing to contribute to the post. Nobody is making you post in here or do you just like being an asshole? Yeah, I like being an asshole and pointing out that this thread is gay. Andreas
I'm going to upgrade my PC in the summer. Intel will release the new Haswell generation in June so if I wait for later in the summer so e.g. August, then that would be the perfect time for an upgrade considering that the prices of the hardware are at the lowest point of the whole year. gta5freemode4eva
I just bought a new Xbox 360 slim and two new batteries for my controller. Hope my LCD tv holds up. If I were you I wouldnt turn the xbox on until sept 17th, just to avoid the RROD as long as possible. I thought they fixed that with the new slim models? Isn't it just the older models that get it? All I know is my brother has gone through 3 xbox's, one of which was a slim. Not to mention I dont know a single xbox owner who hasnt got the RROD. Its the only reason I havent bought one yet. Scares me... I've had my xbox 4 years and i haven't got the RROD I've had mine since 08 (the original fat xbox) and I've had the RROD 5 times... but it was due to a power surge as we were running off generators. Still got the xbox and I've never had the RROD since I moved (normal electrics). *Touches Wood* (superstitious thingy). The eject tray sometimes goes in on its own but that's just because my Xbox is hungry for gta
Official General
My 60gb/BC shiny, big PS3 connected with HDMI to my 20 inch Sony Bravia TV will do me just fine as it has done since October 2007
Grand Theft Auto TOM
Don't have anything specific as preparation, but that's because I already got everything I need: a PS3 (though it's a PS3 Fat), a 26 inch HD Ready TV (that's right, no Full HD unfortunately, but GTA IV was looking pretty nice as well on 720p) and of course... The wait until the release of GTA V! By the way, my current PS3 Fat is from 2008, with an 80 GB HDD (only had to change this once). When I had my birthday, I got it from my parents, together with GTA IV. That was exciting, especially because I had to wait for months after the release. Release was in april, while my birthday is in september. Now this won't happen to me again!
webbo254
Just bought a new 40" Samsung LED TV To go along with my Logitech Z-5500 5.1 and Xbox 360. Bring on 17th Sep !
AspieXLDS
Already ordered a new Xbox; I'm going to be playing GTA IV each month until release, along with my other games to fill in the space. I'm going to buy a nice HDTV off Amazon in August, and finally going to make sure I have a very comfortable chair in September so when I pick up GTA V, I can 'play in luxury'. Reason I'm waiting till Aug. to buy the TV? Summer movies....

I usually pay in one go, but there's no hope I can afford that- I don't even have a job right now. in sweden you can go down payment on everything with no loss you can cut apart the payment just because you don't feel like paying it all at once when you're ready you can pay it all off at once or whatever you want as long as it's over the decided monthly pay so you can decide to pay half of it off the first month so it's alot of freedom i am very very very very very very picky with picture i own crt monitors thats why i chose plasma over led as it's close to crt technology and the zt60 is the best plasma tv you can get now so i don't care how long i have to pay it off i am also a BIG fan of japanese technology
cousinletsgobowling
Ok. This is just my perfect way to play V for the first time. Normally when I get a new game I just pop it in my console and start. There's no real special setup but I think for V it deserves something special. I've got a 42 samsung lcd. Not sure what model though. (Bought it a while ago). But if I had the money I would invest in a home theater with 7.1 surround sound. (Any of you guys who have this are damn lucky) I would take at least one week off for myself just for this game. No work. Nothing to distract you. It helps if you live by yourself but if you live with other people tell them your going on 'vacation' and if they don't understand the awesomeness you want to be alone with, move out or tell them to get lost. Anyway back to the home theater. Start in the morning. After a good breakfast start that baby up. Have plenty of snacks and drinks nearby. Play the first few missions just to get the feel of the story. Then start with some free roam. By afternoon, have some lunch. Then a few more missions. By early evening stop. I like to give myself a rest. I'm not a 24/7 gamer. When it gets late at night, MULTIPLAYER! Deathmatch, freeroam etc with your friends. The next day, do it all over again
Chewie
I'm going to first wait and see if GTA V is coming out on PC. Who knows, they could be making it right now and it could come a few months after. If we get a release date for PC, I am planning to upgrade my whole entire computer for it because I was planning to upgrade for future games also. I am debating if I want to play it on xbox first, but I kind of don't want to because I want the full experience to be on PC. Who knows? I might sh*t myself the first week it comes out and buy it for xbox.
