zhrooms
As Topic, How are you preparing for GTA V? For example: Buying a new TV? Sound System? Headphones? Console? Chair/Couch? Monitor? Capture Card? Mouse and Keyboard Adapter? Remember it has to be specifically or partly for GTA V This is how I've prepared, New Acer 24" 1920x1080 2ms HDMI €100 New Xbox 360 Slim 250GB €90 New Xim Edge €100 New Logitech G105 Keyboard €25 New Razer Goliathus Mousepad €25 Used Steelseries Xai Laser Mouse €15 Total: €355 Bought all this before they announced the delay.. *Clenched Fist* Partly for GTA V, BlackMagic Intensity Pro PCI-E €175 for the computer so I can record the game since it won't be out for PC for a while For the Sound I will be using my PC headphones Ultrasone Pro 900, that would be connected through a Logitech Z-5500 controller to the Xbox (Digital Out) So, at last, how are YOU preparing? I hope it's not just me going crazy over GTA V!

Daniel_KSP
I got the PS3 Eagle Eye mouse and keyboard converter If well calibrated, playing on a console is much more PC-like, a least when it comes to the controls But I will be getting the game on PC as soon as comes out and never come back to consoles
Masher8559
I'm not. Everything is ready. Gaming PC, although this will be playing other games for a long time before it gets to play any GTA V. I did however barrow(take) my girlfriends ps3 as i sold mine last year and will be getting GTA V for the ps3 until PC release.

Way to big for a PC so i've been looking for a new one. It cost €150 but was on Sale for €99, bought instantly Nice price on the xbox slim, where'd you get that price? I am going to buy an xbox slim 250 gb as well for preparation. I got one for for €195 at Christmas with Halo 4 bundled, and if you bought a Xbox 360 with a game, you got €50 back from Microsoft, which I did, so then it only cost me €150, and I then sold Halo for €30 and Skyrim + Forza from the Xbox bundle for €30 (15 each), so I ended up paying only €90 for a brand new Xbox 360 Slim 250GB

Kipsta
Firstly, can i just say, your rig is just..... mind-blowing! Anyways, I upgraded my pc a few months ago not specifically for GTA V though, I am a pc gamer. I wish Rockstar would say when the pc version is coming because i am on the fence about buying a second hand console just for GTA V.

vwnut13
I just bought an HDMI to DVI-D Cable to plug my PS3 into my monitor (23" Acer, 1920x1080 5ms 60hz) Still not sure that it's going to work, but I've got my fingers crossed. If it works, it should be a pretty nice upgrade over the tube TV I play on now. I tried something similar many years ago, You need a separate cable for the audio and speakers.

I don't know what to make of that, either dedication in some sort of weird way or maybe your putting in your exercise now before you loose months sitting on a couch playing.. Either way, um... Thumbs up.

reform
Might buy a superslim PS3. Going to want to keep a PS3 around when PS4's out anyway, so it might as well take up as little space as possible. Been wanting to build a new PC for a while too, so when the PC release date is anounced I can get to work on that. As for consumables while playing: Water. Apparently they are poorly built or something like that. I wouldn't reccomend that, just get a Slim PS3 or Slim 360.
