DownwardGoose
I honestly have never been so excited for something like I am for this. I was only 13 when GTA IV came out, so I didn't truly appreciate what I was in store for. Even so, GTA V in comparison to GTA IV looks staggering. It's like waiting for Christmas except when the day finally arrives I won't open any presents, I'll find the nearest hooker and beat her up. It also won't last for only a day, it will last more than likely for years. This room is just purely for saying how you will deal with the wait and anticipations, or even if you think it's being over-hyped. Be sure to comment! TheFreightTrain
132 long... long days away... What sucks is I have both the ps3 and the 360, and since i've started reading about GTA-5 the last week, I have zero ambition to play anything right now, not even Red Dead Redemption sounds fun at the moment. All I want to do is play GTA-5....*sigh* lol And I'll add, like prolly starting the first of September, I'm going to try and put myself in a GTA bubble free zone so that way I can find a lot of hidden surprises in GTA. I haven't decided if I like that rockstar keeps so tight about info on their games and we can discover a lot of it when we get our hands on the game or wish we knew more! lol Edited May 9, 2013 by TheFreightTrain
DownwardGoose
I know exactly how you feel, Radio Gaga has been pulsing through my ears ever since I heard it in Michael's trailer and there is absolutely nothing I want to play, mostly because nothing that great is coming out in summer. I hate to do this, but just think, if the delay never happened, we'd be on it right now.
TheFreightTrain
Oh man dont remind me that we could be playing this now lol. But as much as it kills me... I like the wait just cause HOPEFULLY this means there will be less bugs/glitches in it. I can stand the wait when I think about that part of it. The good thing is, I pre-ordered NCAA Football 14, that comes out in july. So at least for me when that comes out I'll have some way or form to kill some time lol

DownwardGoose
Jesus, guys. It's 3am in England and I can't sleep because I'm searching every corner of the internet for new things about V. Who needs a life anyway? Having you lot post how bloody far away it really is makes me want to hibernate until September!
I<3GTAV
I hate to do this, but just think, if the delay never happened, we'd be on it right now. But if they never delayed it, we wouldn't have the awesomeness that they told us about. Sure, the game still would have been great, but it's even better now. There's only a couple weeks of school and summer between me and GTA V.
Scampi
since i've started reading about GTA-5 the last week, I have zero ambition to play anything right now, not even Red Dead Redemption sounds fun at the moment. All I want to do is play GTA-5.... This, exactly, for me too. I was actually happy back in February(?) when the delay was announced because it would give me some time to finish all the other games I had planned out. But now with last week's information I can't enjoy anything because when I play it it just makes me wish I was playing V instead. I think come the end of July I will have to stay off the internet almost entirely because I don't want last minute stuff revealed so I can find it for myself. Just the sheer magnitude of stuff that we will be able to do, makes me want to play it even more.
wwinterj
It's like waiting for Christmas except when the day finally arrives I won't open any presents. Maybe it's because I'm 26. Maybe it's because I can buy whatever I want within reason. Maybe it's both but Christmas and opening presents doesn't really excite me. To me Christmas is for Christians and kids. With that said I do like having a excuse to get drunk and eat a lot of food. I'm trying not to hype myself to much for this game as to much hype normally leads to disappointment however the more I read about this game the more I look forward to it. September is shaping up to be a great month in the game world for me with this game coming out and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 remix so close together. Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 is one of my best games of all time(Final Fantasy X been the other) so to have the final mix FINALLY released over here in the UK with RE:Chain of Memories that I never did get to play has me more happy than a pig in sh*t. So from September onwards all the big games come out, my birthday happens in October, Halloween, Bonfire night and then Christmas. I love Autumn(fall) time of the year as it's my favorite season. What better way to welcome it in with two great games.

I have this feel right now since the info on the 2nd. I was waiting for my last day of uni for so long because I told myself "ok, time will go by faster and I will spend my free-time enjoying all those games I haven't gotten to because of uni". As I replay SA, RDR and I play AC3, FC3 etc all I can think of is V and all I can do is wish I could be playing that instead. Damn you, R*....damn you. MizzouRah16
We're all in the same boat. Rockstar is the anti-Peter Molyneux in terms of releasing information about their games. I think that's a good thing.
GourangaMaster
I like to do this thing to trick my mind into thinking things arnt as far off as they seem by never counting the day/month im currently in or the day/month i am anticipating. So I count only from june because we're in may and disregard september because it is the release month and will be plenty of info around that time that will make that time pass quickly. That leaves me with 3 months to go. lol. Sounds silly i know but for some odd reason it works for me. I do this for work weeks too. I Never count monday or friday. haha
TheGodDamnMaster
I wouldn't compare the hype for Christmas (or any major holiday) to my hype for GTA V. I would much rather hang out with relatives that I only get to see once a year than play a video game that I could play anytime.
