Obviosly there will be some people who will be illegally downloading gta V probly a week or 2 before release, and those people im assuming will be making gameplay videos on youtube. Im going to try and fight the temtation to watch any but i know its very temting!

probably yes... but nothing really long and definitely not intro... I remember playing GTA IV for the first time and in intro when Niko came out of boat with look at LC and skyscrappers.. it was awesome

No way. Gameplay videos WILL NOT come from Rockstar so we won't see gameplay unless someone gets the game early and uploads it to YouTube. So they will only come out in the week or days before the release. I can wait another week after waiting almost 2 years.

Sure, not any story missions though. I don't mind seeing the game world and don't really see that as spoilers in a game like this and it certainly won't take away any amount of enjoyment I will get out of experiencing it myself, controller in hand.

No, it would ruin YOUR experience. I won't spoil anything for you guys anyways, but our brains are not wired the same. I want to see as much of the game as I can before I get it.

Oh bo hoo. That's like saying no one should use their legs because we need to be sensitive to disabled people. Except it's even worse here because disabled people don't have control over their non-working legs/ears/brains. Will power is something that is entirely controllable. Watched few IV videos half a year before PC release. The feel of everything was way different than when I was playing by myself.

I doubt you'll see anyone getting the game early, definitely not posting it on the internet and definitely not YouTube. It would be taken down within minutes, probably seconds.

I accidentally ran into a stream of IV the week before it released which ruined the whole surprise for me because after playing the III era ones and then seeing the new HUD on IV was a huge surprise, but of course once I played the game I didn't notice it anymore.

 

So no I'll make sure not to do that same mistake again.

Eh, maybe free roam vids or multiplayer vids. I'm going to stay away from any story playthroughs though.
