Liberty2k7
When I heard about his ability, I immediately thought on Dead Eye in RDR. I've mentioned this in a few topics. I think it will combine dead eye and bullet time really. I'm interested to see how it works!
Pilotmonkey
It's bullet time from Max Payne 3. Yeah. Everytime I do bullet time (IRL) for no reason I just yell MAX payne and dive in any given direction

poklane
It's bullet time from Max Payne 3. I think it's not the diving, just the slo-mo.

blakeney
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bullet Time originate from The Matrix? Depends, if it came out before Max Payne one, then yes. I'd only let Matrix claim it if they had it in a game before though tbh... otherwise i'm sure slow-mo shooting had been done many times in Movies before. YoungChrist
Yeah well they're different. Dead Eye doesn't equal bullet time.
MaxPayne47
Bullet time was first seen in the Matrix, however what Max Payne is most known for is his 'Shootdodge' technique, which essentially combines diving with guns in bullet time while awesomely capping his foes
Liberty2k7
Idiot question:I didn't play MP3,so how different is bullet time compared to dead eye? With dead eye you could press the trigger several times and it would target several different areas of an enemy before shooting, similar to VATS in Fallout 3 if you ever played it. The Scottish Guy
Idiot question:I didn't play MP3,so how different is bullet time compared to dead eye? It's more intense, cinematic, and all round more insanely awesome than dead eye. If I wasn't using my phone, I'd put up a video of it, but it's too much f*cking about on my android. Dick Justice
It adds to the question of whether there will be Special Meter boosters like the Deadly Assassin outfit in RDR.
Tobias_Rieper
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bullet Time originate from The Matrix? John Woo invented bullet time John Woo invented it. The Wachowski Brothers were the ones to actually copyright the name under Warner Brothers films. Matrix used it. Then the original Max Payne. Skip some odd years with 2 MP sequels interspersed with RDR and BAM here we are.
redx165
When I heard about his ability, I immediately thought on Dead Eye in RDR. I think it will be more like Max Payne 3 bullet time. It will slow down time and maybe you will be able to pick where you choose to shoot ( Kinda like Dead eye ). I have a feeling the Trevor's rage will be the orange screen when he's mad. Miss Darko
It might be more similar to Dead Eye than Bullet Time in the sense that I don't think Mike will be doing diving-and-shooting like Max Payne. But I hope it's primarily like Dead Eye level 1, where you can just shoot at people at will in slow motion. Level 2 sucked balls, because it painted targets without your permission, wasting ammo. Level 3 was ok, it let you set targets, but the moment you pulled the trigger without painting a target, it went out of Dead Eye mode and that was annoying as well. Level 1 is the best because it's the most cinematic and fun, and pretty similar to Max's Bullet Time except that Marston can't jump around in slow motion.
