ChronoStinger
What's wrong with having ideas for DLCs before release? It's not like Dice and EA were DLC is already in development for BF4... It's a bad thing when you have to pay over 400 bucks on all the expansion packs. Just ask EA. You missed the whole point! he said there's difference between what is "planned" and what is in actual "development"! I don't give a sh*t. I ain't paying over 400 f*cking dollars for a bunch of DLC. ...Is there anywhere i said you should??! calm down! the point of argument wasn't about to convince you that buying DLC for 400 bucks is a good thing, the point is that you misinterpreted what he originally said!...end of story! And again, I don't care. No need to keep going on and on about the stupid sh*t. Don't reply. ...And i don't care that you don't care, i'm simply saying where you were wrong, while not having enough balls to admit it...i'll reply as much as i want, there's no such rule, that says i should stop replying to pointless comments! i can and i WILL and i suggest you to get OVER it or commit suicide if its "THAT" sensitive to you... Rockstar Games sure appriciate their fans judging by what's changed in the game so far, thank god EA has nothing to do with this game It's reason 1001 why R* are one of (if not the) only big company i have any kind of love and trust for! (not just gaming), if they were the type of company to pull a DLC scam, we would be paying for the other 2 protags (and even then like with iv, that's not exactly a rip off). People talk about DLC as if R* are about to start charging us £1.25 to refill our "special" meter, or having cars for dlc that sh*t on any normally obtainable car, and cost £5 or something... Any DLC that does come our way, i will bet that it will be completely worth w/e they charge (within reason) and wont be something thats a must for the base game to be enjoyable... (like how the sims base game is bare and sucks, and is only "full" if you have acquired all DLC...)
RedDragonsBOOM
EA is actually a very quality company, I don't get why everybody hates them. Activision is the one that's a real scumbag company, they release basically a glorified mod every year and sell is for 60 dollars, then you all buy it and play it non stop and call it the best shooter on the market. They have the wool pulled so tightly over most gamers eyes and some how have deflected the hate of them being a mediocre company over to EA. Use your own brains people and quit following the bandwagon of hate just because others tell you to.

I dont like to see that sh*t, only because it makes who ever has it in their game look like some Korean game dev. I think its funny when a game has it though, it's always pointless tacky sh*t that is way over priced, doesn't bother me seeing some kid in a big novelty football hat (because its during the world cup) or a film tie-in "outfit", i just lol at the douche's parents that will have that sh*t on their cc bill.... paying £5 for their kid to wander round their fav game basicly advertising some movie/product or generally looking like a tacky kid with dlc sh*t for their char.... aldisdzerve
Here's a 3 step process to make this better: 1. Buy GTA V. 2. Enjoy GTA V. 3. Don't buy DLC if you don't want to. Any questions? EA logic: You buy GTA V It has 2 weapons, small map and 3 cars a DLC that costs 60 bucks has the rest of the game My f*cking god, R* please don't be like EA Damn, this was so funny! Thanks! ed72o
DLC wouldn't exist if people weren't stupid enough to buy it Everybody did just fine before all the DLC, expansions, and crap (Back when games were fun, well-made, unique, and worth the money) We don't buy a game just so we can pay more money for the content that should've come with it That's like buying a new car that doesn't come with a steering wheel and you have to pay extra to get it when it should've come with it in the first place

GlitzyTomb
I agree with the OP, who is not at all trolling. Just because a development studio has a structure planned out for their 5 year + game doesn't mean that when they come up with other ideas, which they know they won't have time for, they can just push them off into the future as DLC. If Rockstar is developing GTAV and have determined the budget and timespan in which they can finish the game, and have gotten that budget approved and set a release date, but they then come up with an idea for something else which would be fun to have but is not part of that budget and they are required by law of the internets to delay the game and get the funding from somewhere. Otherwise any idea they have between the first day of development and the release of the game MUST be part of the game or they are EA. For serious. I<3GTAV
Name a major game company that doesn't sell DLC. Exactly. Rockstar most likely will not make a lot of DLC like EA and Activision, and will keep it limited.
Tori_95
GTA 4's DLC was reasonable. It was A STORY, it replaced, and added new and MUCH DETAILED models. but the most important: the dlc wasnt meant to be part of the game in the first place, dlc's now take a part of the game and offer it for extra money and i would never buy this kind of dlc's, nobody should, so they stop doing stupid dlc's
ZNP
You are all complaining about DLC's ( even though you don't know what it will be ) but if Las Venturas will be in next year as a part of DLC you'll suddenly change mood, right?
TheYeast
I can't believe so many people are complaining about this game having DLC. It's not like COD where they have 5 maps that come with the game and 30 that come out within the following year. Or the new Bioshock that has 12 hours of gameplay if that but offer a season pass for DLC's. You guys act like the ridiculous amount of things in this game isn't already enough. Go play Saints Row 4. I hear they held off on releasing it as a DLC or part of the game, but instead of charging 20 bucks they're gonna charge 60.

GlitzyTomb
If Lamar makes it through GTAV it might be fun to have a DLC of what he does after the events of GTAV. Perhaps Franklin gets out of the ghetto, or stays and tries to make life better for kids there, and Lamar feels he has sold out. Lamar could bring that real entrenched gang warfare that a lot of people seem to really want... ...and it would be fun to see the world after the events of the main story have gone down. Could be the first Same Town Same Generation sequel to a GTA game albeit in DLC form. If Lamar doesn't sound so good to you I'm sure there will be plenty of other side characters and acquaintances that might make for interesting DLC. Could have the first Latino banger main character, maybe tell a story of a cop who becomes frustrated by the limits of the law and goes way way beyond... I'd kind of like to see a DLC with a Respect system like GTA2. Kill Ballas and the Families respect you. Kill the Lost and some Corrupt Cops respect you. Kill Corrupt Cops and the Lost respect you. Build up disrespect by killing members of any group or hampering their businesses. Wouldn't take much as the world is already built and each of the factions pretty much already exist. Would be fun to make Families territory a place where people see you in the streets and applaud while some just start following you...while Ballas Country is shoot on sight. Being cool with the Corrupt Cops could have squads of 4-6 bikers coming across the country to shoot you down, while the police would look the other way. If the Lost have your back they might follow behind you anytime you're on a bike, while the Cops (at least in Los Santos itself) would be that much more ruthless in attempts to take you out. TheYeast
I'd like to add that GTA IV only had 2 DLC's that were pretty much full games, and RDR had 1 DLC that added a few story missions and a completely different gameplay element. If you don't like it don't buy it. This is almost as bad as all the crybaby pc gamer's who are sad because GTA V wont be released day 1 on PC, even though they just want it on PC so they can DL illegally or mod a game that took the devs 6 years to make and obviously want people to enjoy the way it was created.. Yeah, game devs like Rockstar HATE modders! I mean they only add value and longevity to their title. Where the f*ck did you come up with the idea that it adds value? It adds things to do for the person who mods their game only. There is literally no value for a company when a consumer mods a product. And it adds longevity when the game is becoming stale and outdated. Hence why they always release GTA's on pc a year or 2 after console release.
