GTA2THACORE
After playing grand theft auto for fifteen years, you always seemed to escape the cops, right? Well how would your thoughts be on beefing up law enforcement to more of a real life experience giving the game more competition? As crimes occur with wanted levels rising, on a three star wanted level the search could continue to a 24 hour search, and a five star wanted level could enhance a 72 hour wanted level of gameplay time. Another feature I believe would be pretty fascinating would be to have k9 units in the game. Just a few thoughts after a little brain storming, so whats your ideas and thoughts to this topic? LSSDLSPD
I'M all in for 72 hour searches ONLY IF you can hide and run out of the search area in a stealth-like way.
Kiffster
Personally, I don't want cops on my ass for too long, so I'm happy with how the wanted system worked in gtaIV. I didn't always get away from the cops, and some police chases lasted very long (sometimes starting as a simple 1 star but then escalating to 2, 3, 4 stars). And a k9 unit would be awesome. Guard dogs have already been confirmed, so why not police dogs too...

Don't let realism interfere with "funism". Some things don't need be to realistic. Edited May 8, 2013 by UberVIIX

Birch Tree
I also heard there was going to be Riot Units using tear gas and stuff. Not sure if it's true though but that'd be cool to see.

S1LV3R_W0LF
According to the latest info the cops still have the "emergency range" but they know where you are by their line of vision, which means you can actually hide inside that area and escape if they don't see you. So I assume this time they'll be "smarter", maybe take tips from witnesses, ask information to pedestrians and maybe even search your car by the unique license plates we saw the cars have now. Kiffster
This is pretty different! Cops riding on the sides of police suvs, making police chases more challenging and awesome!!
