Sky color.

Salutations fellow GTA fanatics, I'm positive you are just as thrilled as I am about GTA V, as I have "September 17th, 2013. Jesus Returns" tattooed on my ass. (It was a coked out bet lost at the hands of a game of tetherball, but that's a different story) Anyways, the point is: GTA V, f*ck Ya!

 

Now, my question about GTA V is the sky color. Do you all, the GTA experts, think that GTA V will have realistic sky color cycles?

 

As in: "Red at night, sailor's delight."

"Red in the morning, sailor's warning."

 

Meaning, if the sky's red in the morning, a storms a brewin' and hitting the high seas would not be the wisest decision.

 

This could affect planning around a luxurious yacht heist (Michael is a yacht enthusiast IMO) the underwater scuba mission, or something of the like.

 

Thoughts?

On topic, yes I think so. In a few screens the sky is red when sun is setting/rising

On topic, Yea I think so. Red Dead had that reddish sky at the time of dawn and dusk and it is believed that V's weather system has even improved on that. So I think so.

I think they are all sunsets, but that's besides the point. I care quite a lot about how the sky looks because in IV you had to turn your brightness down just to see it was blue, and the clouds just looked like skidmarks streaked across the sky. I am very hopeful for V though. See trailer 1 at the oil drill scene. The sky looks amazing there.

I would be disappointed if the sky is red early in the morning, but it doesn't thunderstorm that day.

 

I mean, I wouldn't be so disappointed that I would burn my foreskin with lit cigars or anything. I'd just be like.. "Aw, shucks, that's kinda a bummer."

 

But then I'd continue to play with a smile and boner on my face.

I went through most of the screenshots released and found none, but I am 100% sure that cloudy, rainy, drizzle, thunder etc. will have different looks in sunrise/sunset/noon. turn.gif
