Maybe came on here for San Andreas a few times but i really came on this site when they announced GTA IV and people were speculating the location. So i created an account shortly after the first trailer was revealed. I had an account for a short time and i wanted one with a new name so i abandoned it and made this account in June of 2007. At first my only intention was to communicate with my friend since this is his new utopia. Before San Andreas I was on gtagaming.com but eventually I migrated to this beautiful site lol Yeah, its been six years since I signed up. I'm not a massively frequent poster, I prefer to just observe sometimes, but my love for GTA has me checking the forums every day. Gtaforums has been a constant distraction from anything I have to do in my life haha. Still, apart from the trolls and frequent pointless topics in the V section, I think we have a really good community of gamers here on gtaf. Hiphiphorhay Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 first i found out about the ps4 coming out. then i reminisced the old days of playing Xbox live with people who stream online and watching their stream at the same time. when i found out that the ps4 will be able to stream live and upload videos that's when i decided that i would buy it and try to actually have my own channel and everything. then i heard about the new titles and watch dogs reminded me of gta. so i checked out gta and found out that a new one was coming out. became obsessed for a bit finding out all the epic new things about it. and wanted to see more so i googled gta 5 news and ended up on here. AlexGTAGamer Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 Before my join I used to take a gander at gta4.net for the maps, walkthrough guides, collectible locations etc. for my playthroughs of IV, and one day when I was looking through the news archives I noticed links to this site. For some time I used to browse the forums, mostly in the IV section and some concept threads, and so after getting a little bit of familiarity with that part of the forums at least I finally joined hoping to get answers to troubles I was having in the game, to help others, find out more things, etc. As time went by I eventually ventured out of the IV section to find the other parts of GTAF, and so now that I know IV pretty much like the back of my hand I use the forums as a means of taking my mind off of the chaotic happenings in my day to day life, laugh and partake in topics, blah blah blah- mess around put bluntly. Ate dinner, power came back on and came back here.
