Nidgeweasel
There were loads of myths and legends suggested to have been inserted into GTA SA due to certain "clues" such as "bigfoot footprints" and "Ghost car glitches" that spun controversy on the internet, just search "Bigfoot GTA SA" on Youtube and look at the results. It seems that R* just added those "clues" in to mirror/parody the stupidity or more politely annoyance of bigfoot hunters or ghost hunters or whatever the f*ck.6 years later in Red Dead Undead Nightmare they decided to add in Mythical creatures some of which were suggested to have been in GTA SA such as Bigfoot, the unicorn, the chupacabra, etc. because the game itself was just one big nightmare keeping John up at night. My question to you is with a legacy like San Andreas' for myths and all do you think it would be good/interesting/bad/stupid/whatever to have these supposed "myths" return? DODI3OG
There wan't even any "myths" in the first place. Only IDIOTS who went to the internet believed those lies by those modders. If there's to be a myth I really want it to be existing in-game and not some mod or sh*tty photoshop.
AceHigh11
All this countryside... it's screaming for some myth. I expect some weird unexpected sounds in the countryside at night

Exactly that's my point.Just like in real life there'll be the tease of some huge, massive discovery that idiots will go on and such for even though it's just a R* joke. Exactly in GTA SA R* parodied those idiot Mythbusters through the idiot players who thought that Bigfoot was in San Andreas.
Zeb89
I was the co-author of the Misterix mod for GTA SA. It actually made over 3 million dowloads back in the day (2007). Wouldn't surprise me if they added Bigfoot in the woods. Just make him challenging to find, or it'll be boring.
MattyIce
I'm hoping for an old two-story house, wooden, with crooked shutters somewhere amongst the sticks. When I approach the yard there's a lamp light on the porch and an old man with long white hair, wearing a straw hat, suspenders with a blue and white flannel shirt underneath, chewing on a straw of wheat and rocking in an old wooden chair. As I walk up to the porch he says in an eery crickedy voice "Dont. You. Walk, any further. Unless... You're ready to see, something only *cough spit tobacco* few eyes have the fortuneof seeing" nodding assuredly the protagonist agrees, only to see the most jaw dropping sight any human has ever set their eyes upon- The old man, trousers dropped, is bending over and spreading his cheeks to reveal his asshole; crusty with gray hairs and green gunk lining the ridges, yet towards the center, a small image is revealed.. The Virgin Mary, holding a copy of GTA VI: GTA San Fierro, 1970s.
ZeaLoT-RS
A giant octopus, whale or whaleshark would be nice, because you will get the feeling that the ocean is dangerous. I really think there should be some big and dangerous things and animals in the ocean that can kill you in like 1 or 2 hits, but that are not very common in the ocean just rarely encounters. Killing such giant beasts should be rewarded with a perk or unlock for multiplayer ( or a trophy/achievement)
ll rdny ll
Myths are things that can't be confirmed. You people need to figure out what you're asking about. Of course there will be myths.

R* didn't put any clues to Bigfoot in SA & that's why the myth has endured. People continuing to look for something that isn't there, like ghosts in real life. The ghost car rolling down the hill was just a glitch that most people witnessed (a glitch that spawned an empty car). However they may actually put in something purposely this time. Just don't expect to be finding this guy roaming the woods.
Cyper
You're asking whenever people will make up stories or not? Yes, they will. The whole ''myth stuff'' started (If I remember correctly) with the Rolling car in Back'O Beyond. Then came leatherface, bigfoot, aliens, the green fog etc. Most of it is bullpoo, but some of it is indeed true, even one could question if some of these things are to be called ''supernatural'' or not, or simply bugs and glitches. This video shows proof - proof because you can verify it by trying and because its on the PS2. Edited May 8, 2013 by Cyper
heynow
Well I for one am hoping they will reference Big Foot, because that became such a well known thing and since theyve already referenced it in Red Dead. I thought it was a little more than a myth anyway. Ghost cars, probably not. Maybe we will get something with Aliens as well like Area 69, correct me if Im wrong but arent those satellite dishes supposed to be SETI?

HaythamKenway
I doubt internet will be looking for mysteries as much as in SA's days. Things back then were insane, but mostly because SA offered the first real chance for those myths to be created, with it's deep, dark forests, barren deserts, goverment conspiracies mentioned even in the storyline and weird cars spawning in the wilderness. It was a new phenomenon and everyone jumped on it, but people realized quickly that there wasn't anything to be found and were sceptical (for a right reason) to any more myths that showed up in IV's days. Remember Ratman? Part of SA's mystery hunting's magic was that it was spontaneous. Nobody from R* said "There is something weird in the countryside, go find it." People were putting together clues, making theories or fooling each other with fakes. I doubt anything like it will happen again. It would be cool if R* put some incredibly rare NPC's (serial killers to find, for example) or vehicles in the game so we could hunt for them, but it wouldn't be same as in SA's days.
