Mista J
This is what is poisoning the industry, so much focus on the graphics that gameplay and functionality are becoming second thought. No one is asking for "better graphics". It's ill-informed to dump people that would like some aliasing in the "graphics whore" crowd. It's 2013, and even your most basic tablets have aliasing on their games. Why do they do it? Not for graphic whoring but for better display purposes. We're 4 months away from release. You still think they don't have time to fix it? Course they do. How do you think they are going to fix it? Rockstar can't put better GPU or add more memory in PS3 or Xbox 360. Well if they can't, who gives a f*ck? It already looks f*cking awesome. I think you care, you're the one who mentioned that they can fix it in 4 months. For all we know our consoles will overheat with this game.

Shane_Dbns
Ok then, good for you. I'm sure when you get your Pc version in 2017 (if there even is one ) you can sort out these huge "problems". Oh well I'll just play my ps3 version in september while you complain.

kesta195
Well my TV is Full HD and capable of displaying 1080p. GTAIV is one of the games on PS3 that can upscale to 1080p (not all PS3 games can do this). Does this mean that, providing V is the same, this wont be a problem for me? Sorry if you are already aware of this, but the PS3 does not render games at 1080p, they are all being rendered at 720p (Not all, like COD is rendered at a lower resolution). @iNero Definitely right. Ok, I don't know too much about this tbh, but on the back of some PS3 game cases there is a box that shows the resolution(s). Most just say 720p but some including GTAIV, Assassins Creed, Skate etc to name a few show 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Why would they include all 3 if the PS3 is only capable of displaying in 720p? So am I making matters worse by stretching it to 1080p rather than leaving it at the standard 720? Because I have to say when TBOGT is displaying at upscaled 1080p it does look better to me than at 720p.

Xbox had 720p everytime Because the only reason it was 640p in the first place was that it was PORTED FROM 360. It was also because they needed to get used to the PS3 specs first, even RDR needed to be downscaled a bit. RDR was still smoother on ps3 however. This time, i guarantee V will be 720p on PS3. BFR579
I'm just happy that I'll be able to play the game, even if the graphics could indeed be a little better. The main thing that is concerning me, is the performance, hopefully there won't be too many fps drops. They really should release it for the pc though, so that the players can get the most complete experience possible.

.JimmyHopkins.
It's graphic whores like you that make me wish that the game doesn't come out for PC/Next Gen. I am really sick and tired you graphic whores complaining about the game. Go and make a game like GTA V and put it on consoles and let's see if you can make it "better" aliasing and steady 30fps. This is huge game they need to sacrifice something to make it steady 30fps. "Let's see you do better!" is a logical fallacy, please stop using it. http://maggieflynn49.wordpress.com/2012/05...-you-do-better/ Why stop using it? Its like a noob explaining how things work to a professional...he is right,im also tired of people saying what they want and only what they want without having any idea how the tech works...do you seriously think that R* are going to make this like that for no reason? They know their job, going full out on this game, stop f*ckin' complaining and appreciate the game...some of you are like those people who go on vacation and take f*ckin' pictures of f*ckin' everything to look at them at home instead of looking at the real thing to form memories and see the real beauty. GTAaLEX117
I wonder why the OP didn't use this image I'm not seeing much aliasing (especially on the distant cranes). But I'm sure somebody's going to say this was tweaked or photoshopped...
Machine Head
Poor OP. Thinking graphics are more important than gameplay... For that reason, I'm glad you won't enjoy this. You don't deserve to either mate. Also, 'jaggies' aren't a problem. If something like that bothers you, then I suggest suicide because that's pathetic. What's "pathetic" is you suggesting suicide to a kid. F*ck off. OT: No, it won't make it unplayable, for me at least.
