Agni
See all those pixel jaggies on all that high detail goodness in the mid clip? Yea, you see it, see those cranes? See how their legs go "black/white/black/white" - yea, those aren't multicolored up close lol. When the camera moves, those are going to look like they are spinning and static objects are going to be jumpy and spinner-looking all over the map at console resolution. Well then, it's a good job the focal point of the screenshot is Franklin and what he's doing That's not a Depth of Field effect.
dirty dollar bill
I honestly can't complain about the graphics. It went from this: To what we see now. It has come such a long way since its early days, so I can't complain over some jaggie pixels on some distant cranes. It just seems like such a shallow thing to be hung up over. Snake Without a Tongue
Is it possible for anyone simply to enjoy something? Why does everything have to be reduced to specs? Guess what, next generation will push the envelope too. If games were developed specifically for PC they'd push the limitation of the equipment too. It's a damn game! ShotGunRain
It's graphic whores like you that make me wish that the game doesn't come out for PC/Next Gen. I am really sick and tired you graphic whores complaining about the game. Go and make a game like GTA V and put it on consoles and let's see if you can make it "better" aliasing and steady 30fps. This is huge game they need to sacrifice something to make it steady 30fps.

Focal point is not literally what is in focus, what they want you to look at first because of composition, which is Franklin. But literally everything looks great in the screenshot to me. I play IV now and still get blown away at graphical detail. Photo realism isn't the ultimate goal of gaming. Anything who says it is, is stupid. 3d era was immersive, nobody cared about people having square hands.

iNero
It looks like RDR on these screens. And I had no problem st all with aliasing in it. And yes I can compare it as RDR has alot structures with similar edges

MosquitoSmasher
I've always wondered if the next GTA could actually look similar to RDR, but i always came to the conclusion that it would never be possible. Look at how empty RDR is compared to GTA V...but holy sh*tballs, if these trailers and screenshots are anything to go by, they freaking DID IT. I'm really not expecting a steady 30fps constantly. I'll just expect some framedrops here and there, simply because that's the best thing to do...just keep expectations low. Framerate isn't perfect in any game, except for a game like CoD with 60fps and some other games like RAGE.
73duster
Why is everyone taking this obvious PC troll seriously? Do you REALLY believe he's not going to sleep on the sidewalk, just to be the first in line to buy the game? Do you really think ANY of these retards will ACTUALLY wait for the PC version, while everyone else is playing the greatest game of all time? There isn't even a confirmation that it will come to PC's, and even if it does, it will be well after GTAV wins GOTY.
IDredMan
If you: A: Can't play a game at 720P. Or B: Can't play a game at 30FPS. Then you probably haven't been playing games before 2006, back when most games were good, but had terrible graphics.
GTAGuy
I'm a primarily a PC gamer and as much as I'm looking forward to the PC release, I'm still going to be picking up the PS3 and 360 versions of the game when it launches. Will I be complaining about the graphics? No. If the jaggies bother you that much, grab a nice 720p TV around 26" or so. There's no real point in upscaling games to 1080p if they're running at 720p internally. All you're doing is adding blur to the game. I find that PS3 and 360 games generally look best on a native 720p display around 26"-32" and when sitting around 10 feet away. The key here is distance. If you sit further away from the screen you are less likely to notice the aliasing and other graphical anomalies inherent with running at a "meager" 720p. Simply put, if you plan on playing this game on your 1080p computer screen sitting a couple feet away like you would any PC game then prepare to be disappointed. What else would you expect from 8 year old hardware? Wait for the PC version. Edited May 7, 2013 by GTAGuy

gtamann123
The game looks f*cking gorgeous. The people who try to say it looks like sh*t and is unplayable because of the graphics are either PC fanboys, trolls, or people who seriously expect Crysis graphics on a game of this scale. To people who fit into the last category. Go f*ck yourself
YoungChrist
Before you decide: I suggest look at the image in its own tab, hold CTRL+Scroll to zoom in til it is fullscreen. That is what the game will look like at that resolution on any tv bigger than the screenshot. This is an unfair way to determine that there will be a lot of jaggies. This picture is being displayed in 1280 by 720. Of course its going to decrease in quality when you zoom in on a picture thats only meant to be viewed in 1280x720. Not saying that I disagree with the suggestion that there will probably be little to no anti aliasing in GTA V, but zooming in on an image thats only meant to be shown at a low resolution doesn't prove your point.
