See how their legs go "black/white/black/white" - yea, those aren't multicolored up close lol. When the camera moves, those are going to look like they are spinning and static objects are going to be jumpy and spinner-looking all over the map at console resolution. Screenshot looks great, but in motion, that is going to be a mess of pixel-fighting and super ugly. It's going to be ever-present jaggie-land. This game will be unplayable for me at 720p. I will pass this game until I can play it at higher than that resolution. You? Before you decide: I suggest look at the image in its own tab, hold CTRL+Scroll to zoom in til it is fullscreen. That's with all the processing turned off as I like the image to be natural. However 720p on a 1080p computer monitor looks bad without anti-aliasing. In summary, this game will look ok. I must say you've totally opened my eyes. Screw V, those jaggies are hurting my poor little eyes. That water (in this screen shot) is exactly the same as IV water just different settings in hue and maybe the noise/normal for it is different But yes, I am very excited for the open waters/alamo see waters and their bigger wavy areas Also very excited for the flow maps, the little streams and rivers, gonna be aweosme. @all I'm not let down by the quality of the game in entirety, I just know it will never look good at 720p and requires higher resolution to really see the world in its true glory. It will require either a next-gen release or pc release to get the actual view of this game world, on 720p, we can see only close up stuff clearly, everything else is going to be really jaggy and smudging them is only smudging them - the screen simply doesn't have enough pixels to display the detail. That's a good thing. It shows just how much they do. But I won't be able to play until it's bigger resolution on my PC or on new console. Zoom into the pic so it is fullscreen on your pc. those screens only look good cause they are 1:1. The bigger your tv is, the worse this game will look. So the only answer to that, is more pixels. As for your issue, I read some guy review that was in Rockstar HQ that said the game looked great but wasn't exactly like the screenshots show, but to be honest and being a PC player and seeing my brother playing GTAIV in XBOX360 and trying it myself, I think V looks light years better then IV did with that ugly filter. Even that water reflection is better then the one I remember in my PC in 1080p with very high settings. In IV it looked like a giant static mirror, here it's all wavy and distorted, like real water. And look to all those boats and the size of that colossal bridge... there is so much that I doubt anyone will even notice those small details.
