Ah yes, i'd almost forgotten about the stealth skill. That's a shared skill right? Any of the three can use it? I LOVE stealth in games.

Homemade Dynamite

It's called a "suppressor". Where did you get your knowledge of guns? Call of Duty?

as someone already stated, most of the times on videogames the addition of a suppressor means the weapon will cause less damage than without one. this never made any sense to me because in real life the addition of a suppressor usually causes more damage. the longer the barrel the more muzzle velocity you get from the projectile, so when you fasten 4 or 5 more inches of barrel to the gun in the form of a suppressor you are firing the same projectile as before at a higher velocity which means more energy

Your statement is filled with flaws.

Suppressors work BEST with sub-sonic ammo (under the speed of sound) so as to not "crack" when it breaks the sound barrier. This is accomplished by reducing the amount of gun powder in the round. Hence the round moving slower, and having less energy. You do not have to use this ammo, you can use normal ammo, it will just suppress the sound far less... Further more, suppressors do not make bullets travel a faster velocity or have more energy...

Having have a suppressor has f*ck-all to do with reducing, or increasing power.... You read the longer barrels making more velocity comment correctly, (where ever you over heard or read it) but a suppressor does not contain a barrel or rifling. The channel inside the suppressor is SLIGHTY larger than the caliber of the gun is cambered for, insuring the bullets never make direct contact with the suppressor. The bullets pass through suppressor and the gasses are redirected and muffled, much like the muffler on your car.

Suppressors add no barrel length (AT ALL- NONE), and doesn't effect the bullets power positively or negatively... The ONLY time they do is if the barrel is integrally suppressed (built into the barrel as opposed to attached to the end of the barrel). I'm not trying to be a dick or come off as "the smart guy", but your post was so grossly false it had to be addressed. You shouldn't comment on something after reading a article somewhere, this is how misinformation gets spread.

As a side note I'll add this fun fact:

In America it's widely believed suppressors are completely illegal, this is not the case at all. In fact, suppessors are completely legal in MOST states. To purchase one, you have to file application with the ATF, and if approved pay a $200 dollar tax for purchasing one. (Plus the actual cost of the suppressor)

Dude, does it really even matter? It's the same thing no matter what it's called. And no, I don't play Call of Duty. lol

@MosquitoSmasher Hmm... I'll have to go back and read them again.
