Kifflom112
If you're smart ass decided to read what was written before getting involved you would know the reason i told him that was because he said i apparently need to learn how to read, understand now genius ? Judging from you're grammar which is f*cking horrendous I'd be surprised if you got anything other than straight null & void across the board, you also spelt Anthropology wrong....... friend. "Can I prove it? No." At least you got that part f*cking right. What the hell man? Just drop it and leave, you're getting a little annoying and if you keep this dumbass attitude up you'll be permanently banned. Mods don't play games around here. Either shut up or come back to a "Board Message, you have been banned" tomorrow. Shut up you dickhead if i should get banned so should you, talk sense or don't talk at all, pussy. Okay then. You're entitled to your wrong opinion, goodbye.

MC_9
I personally don't know about purchasing cars. I really don't care for that feature. IMHO I feel it takes away the thing that makes GTA...GTA. I feel carjacking and stealing cars will be pointless. That's just what I think. Im a criminal, I want to steal cars, not buy them. I think the game is now past just stealing cars. Everything that they will add will fit into the story and the world that they are creating. Whats the point of going to all this effort to plan major heists, and all these measure to insure you don't get caught, just for a cop to drive past Michael's house and see a stolen car in his driveway. Even more, whats the point of doing these heists and making all this money if there is nothing to spend it on. That was probably the single biggest flaw with GTA IV. Once you finished the main story, there wasn't much point playing on because there was nothing to play for.
TotesMagotes
How would buying cars make stealing cars pointless? Buying a really rare car will probably be hundreds of thousands of dollars. You will have to decide if you wanna blow all that cash instead of searching around for a certain car and stealing it. It also gives you an option, a certain path to take, whether you wanna be a good guy or a bad guy. The idea of saving up for that hot sports car, doing jobs and building your savings to finally buy it seems very rewarding to me. Once you have the feeling of having bought a car and customized it yourself you get a feeling of attatchment, like it's your go to car for driving around the city, or your Trusty red pick up truck that you have had forever. This will be an awesome feature.
Happyness
To all those who wonder why the f*ck do we need a buying system, easy. After pulling off a huge heist, I want to feel the satisfaction by spending the money, and how can I spend the money? Buying cars, houses, and whatnot. I want to BUY the car and feel that it is MINE. Some of you need to realize that GTA is past the "stealing cars" theme, GTA is not related to stealing cars anymore. I, personally, will feel a huge satisfaction taking MY car, that I WORKED for and cruise down the street.
V8 Engine
Players can spend their hard earned cash on luxury cars... It was confirmed via Game Informer Preview. So with that being confirmed, what are you guys going to buy? Will we get to purchase cars at Franklin's dealership? The last thing I want to do is buy a car from Franklins dealer and have it repoed f*ck that LOL
TRANEMing
You can buy cars in GTASA, but in my case, fast cars I'd bought just could not survive more than five minutes, not to mention those I sent to water 30s after I'd paid $50K... So here's the problems: If the cars you buy can store in your garages like that of <sleeping dogs> or <Driver:Parallel Line>, A: It may happen to be hundreds of cars in your car selection list and you may take long time to find the car you want B: Only a few cars can be purchased. C: Each garage can hold limited number of cars but when you want to save a rare car you've just stolen you may replace one of the car you buy or you can't save you car or the stolen is auto replaced by one of your purchased cars. If the cars you buy like in the SA, you can save it in your garage but won't respawn if you trash it ontside, then I will buy cars but not much.... Anyway, that's a good news though.... djv3n0m
Great, imagine flipping it upside down just as you leave the dealsership. Then it's back to robbing liquor stores. f*ck that, i'll just steal a nearby car (probably one out of the dealership) and ram it till it flips back over. A trip to the Pay n Spray won't hurt. Hahah now getting your car stolen by some random pedestrian or another player (online) will be hilarious i'll be watching every fool approaching it with binoculars
crispypistonx8
Maybe we can buy vehicles from a used car lot also?

Audiophile
Wait.... Some of you are actually complaining about having MORE features in the game such as buying cars? Bitches please, if you don't want to buy goddamn cars then guess what? DON'T BUY THEM. That's the beauty of an open-world game. You can decide what you want to do with the free-roam features you are presented with. You want to jack a car? Cool, go ahead. You want to buy a car? Cool, go ahead. The more features, the better. That means the longer the game will last once all the main missions are done. The more choice you have in free-roam, the more fun it will be and the more things you have to spend money on, the more satisfying it will be to earn money. Think about GTA IV. Great game and a good main storyline but then when you finish it....what then? Sure free-roam in IV is fun but it gets old fast. There's not much to do. V is going to offer a plethora of choices in this regard. That can only mean good things, so stop whining and make your own video game if you're that upset. jogy
What Audiophile said. Rockstar is doing it for us. If it was up to them we would be having the game right now without the features we asked for.

EDSTEROK
How about if the dealerships where you buy your car gave you the GTA version of road side assistance that you get IRL? So if you crash it or leave it behind because of a mission or w/e reason the dealership fixes and delivers it to your garage. This way you never lose your car (unless maybe if it blows up) AND you get to keep all the custom stuff you spent your ill-gotten dough on
GtaVComments
This is going to be amazing. I will probably just buy a medium priced vehicle to call my own for a while, like a real life sorta thing . Gonna make sure I keep it in tact though. I'm hoping that once it is blown up that's it. It will feel more valuable then because you just wasted about 30k on a nice car and now it's gone . Maybe Franklin owns at the end the Armenian dealership he was actually working for.
SwaggedOut
I'm hoping they're manufacturer dealers or dealers by vehicle type (Muscle, exotic, luxury, etc)
kesta195
This is made better by the fact that we now know if you abandon vehicles you own they appear at impounds and you can retrieve them for a fee. So we wont lose cars after we have spend loads of money buying them or customizing them.
cityspud
I'm gonna buy a really expensive car... park it in the ghetto and hide round the corner to see if it gets robbed. Just how deep does this game go? lol probs not that deep but you never know, eh? If nobody robs it then I'll just... errr, well.. I'm sure I'll find something to do with it. Haha that would be awesome, did this happen in GTA IV? I cant remember, but i have a vision that someone once pulled me out of my car on 4 but i dunno, maybe it was a different game. But the question is what would you do if they stole, id probably just stand there in shock.
