Sneakerhead.
I will buy: Comet (x2) Cheetah Infernus (x2) Bugatti (x2) Miura Black Luxury Sportscar Dewbauchee Coupe 9F Coupe F50 look-alike (x2) Yeah, I like Hypercars. Wonder if we can give the other protags our cars, like buying a 9F as Michael, and letting Franklin have the car, or buying a Banshee as Franklin and letting Trevor have the car. IronZombie
That old school James Bond looking Aston Martin was pretty sweet. I'd buy that if I could. Love classic cars.
jamieleng
Imagine saving up for a luxery car, buying it, then when you pull out of the garage you bought it from, a random ped opens the door, pulls you out and steels it But thankfully you invested in LoJack & via an app on your smartphone, you can trace its location & take sweet revenge on the person who carjacked you. Yeah, that's unlikely to be a feature. When they say you can buy cars, they don't mean you'll spend $100k on a supercar, drive it out of the showroom, manage to flip the car just a few hundred metres down the road& that's money down the drain. No, you'll buy a car the same way you buy horses in RDR. Everytime you want one, you'll call someone on your phone & they'll deliver it to you. If you destroy it, then maybe you have to wait 12 in game hours, or pay a certain amount before you can call for another one. Don't expect these 'pink slip' cars to be cheap though. If you customize one of these owned cars, they will stay that way, unless you remove or change certain things.
UberVIIX
One problem I always had was wanting to keep more cars than I had space for, even In SA with all those garages. I hope the "garages" it says we can buy, will hold 10 cars or more, something like this:

Guest
It'd be sick if Franklin could buy a mansion with a huge underground garage that can store like 20 cars.
ResidentPSYCHO
I think we should be in tight with the shops that we will take our cars to get customized to so that when something happens to our cars they are towed there for repairs and we can just pick them up there after paying for the repairs. If its a case where we just abandon our cars for whatever reason we can just call to have it towed to our garage either for a small fee or free cause we are such good customers or maybe as a perk after doing some missions for the shop(s). For a touch of realism, they shouldnt be able to repair a car that has been blown up. So if you see your car taking serious damage you're better off leaving it behind before it catches fire and jacking another car to get away. I agree, if the vehicle is not destroyed, then it would be a great feature to pay to have it fixed up and respawn. With no risk of loss at all you would not worry about crashing your $100,000 sports car. Using a tow service is also a good idea. And what about our own purchased cars? If i'm cruising down the street and take, lets say, a side mission what is forcing me to step into another car. What will happen to my car I left? Will it be there when I get back? Hopefully a parking spot would not be too far away at the start of the mission and you could save your vehicle for collection later.
Jonee
then you buy a car, start a mission, use the car, leave it there(for some reason inside the mission),go back and the car isn't the anymore.
allftw
Why would I buy a car when I can steal it? Apparently none of you take good care of your vehicles Its not about taking care of it. Even if you avoid crashing your car the entire time if you drive it to a mission there is a good chance you'll end up losing it which drastically limits their usage. Joao_Mario
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this before, but since we get to plan out our own heists and find our own vehicles that the mission would require, the ability to purchase/modify cars could make the heists a lot more unique. For example, instead of using the first crappy 4-door car you find as a getaway vehicle, which could end up being something like a Washington, you can just go to a dealership, buy a 7F and customise it to cope with whatever escape route you have chosen. That could save time you would have otherwise wasted trying to find an equally decent car for stealing, and it would also give you a sense of ownership and attachment to the car AND mission. You could even use the same vehicles for all heists that require that sort of vehicle, and upgrade them as you get more money. I don't know, this could be pretty cool. Just my 2 cents
Pilotmonkey
If i remember correctly this was in SA? Across the Roosevelt Hotel (Orange building) I only remember 1 of the cars you can buy which was a Tampa (my favorite) Or the show room in San fierro? Poedersuiker
At the start of Gta IV, you didnt saw a Infernus for example. Im betting in V, that if you purchase some car, it will be available on the streets. Why buy a car while you can steal the same sort with no effort? Why buy a car while you can steal the same sort with no effort? my point also, why buy one if you can probably steal the same just as easy? Not to bash the idea but it should be implemented well or else it doesn't make so much sense In San Andreas there was actually also the feature to buy cars

THE POINT IS THIS: We are tired of having stolen a rare car, only to find EVERYONE else in the city is driving one since we found it.... We want SOME cars to be so rare that we don't see them driving around, hence having to buy them..... Making any sense yet?

Official General
If I buy a car, I want a few things:- Can't be found on the road to steal. - If left behind, it will spawn at the last garage/parking spot you saved it in. This Me too.

Just my 2 cents Yeah but getaway vehicles are usually stolen specifically for that heist & you wouldn't use the same getaway car twice. You'd want to torch it, or dump it in a large body of water. You could still steal a fast getaway car to use & it would be free, unless you suped it up with mods.
