I just hope we see a return to our own garages and not just designated parking spaces, often in IV a car in the world would budge my car out of the zone, therefore my car would disappear after a load, annoying. I'm excited to be able to spend money on vehicles, and modify them, making my car unique to the world, exciting prospect. I will probably steal them though still, as it's more fun. I hope they implement a way in which it is more of a heist theme and harder to steal a car from, say, a showroom. Rather than 1 cop tailing you and loosing them in a few seconds. I think if they introduce car showroom theft (like they did with IV with Grotti), it has to seem like a big deal, like in the real world. It will make the reward of getting the car feel much better. I think they will do so somewhat anyway because of Franklin having to jack cars for his own showroom. In many ways the overall heist theme of the game could really boost gameplay element like that. For higher risk missions such as a bank robbery and car chases I would use a random stolen car. This way my own cars will not be destroyed or recognized in connection with crimes. I think we should be in tight with the shops that we will take our cars to get customized to so that when something happens to our cars they are towed there for repairs and we can just pick them up there after paying for the repairs. If its a case where we just abandon our cars for whatever reason we can just call to have it towed to our garage either for a small fee or free cause we are such good customers or maybe as a perk after doing some missions for the shop(s). For a touch of realism, they shouldnt be able to repair a car that has been blown up. So if you see your car taking serious damage you're better off leaving it behind before it catches fire and jacking another car to get away. If it just got left behind somewhere, it would be neat if it got impounded and you had to pay to get it back. More realistic than it just spawning back at your place, but you still get to keep your car and not have it just vanish in thin air like previous games. I did and i can tell you that if i leave my car spawned with mods and go to another city and then go back to the car, it is still there. I don't know how it is possible, but it is.
