Yeah, like GTA III, where there were actually car jackers at times, i loved that, lol. By the way, as for parking your car. The previews spoke of owning property, but i don't remember if they said that includes garages too, does it? I missed the garages from the older GTA games in GTA IV. Parking space next to the house is cool i guess, but a garage is MUCH better. Yea one of the previews did mention garages. Im not sure which one. Exactly. It might be grand theft auto, but the cars never feel like your own. This will change. This wasn't the case in SA due to the fact we could mod them. But the layouts if the heists and income from out businesses will be realistic as well. Meaning we can get very rich and have a ton of expensive toys to spend out money on. nujee Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 One thing would be cool- if you can only fully customize the plate of the car that you have got- i.e. if you steal a car, u can only change the plate to a random alphanumerical layout that is consistent with every other car, but if you buy a car, you can actually pick a name for it.....or call it you name, much like in real life. I made a GTA concept topic awhile ago called Venturas Heat before V was announced that had the feature, basically it worked that your car(s) would be marked on the map, and would stay were you left them for a longer period of times depending on where you left it, if you leave it in a businesses parking lot it’d stay a few days to a week in a parking garage it could last upto a month even, in the street it’d be towed ASAP. After that it would be impounded for awhile and you could go pay to get it back if you wanted to. I hope it works something like that. Not only that this will be nice to use for when a car is rare and you need/want one fast, you can just go buy it, may come in handy for getting a getaway for the heists as well seeing as it seems you can pick a car for the heist. I mean some cars you just don’t see every day in traffic, and we’ve seen the likes of a possible Muira look alike as well as a DB5 look alike, now while the nicer areas will likely have it’s fill of Comets and the occasional Infernus and other high end cars, the ones like I mentioned should spawn rarely and in a select few areas, so buying them may be easier than casing one out and stealing it. Lets also hope that the car you’re in dosen’t spawn everywhere it seems. (But that’s a whole other topic) I also hope there’s an in game website that lets you buy cars as well go to the sellers house and then either be a dick and steal it or pay them. Not to mention different dealers should have different things obviously, from your typical used car lot, with old family cars to a collector automobile house with vintage automobiles as well as modern exotics that are extremely hard to find. The Game Informer June Issue clearly states this: ...you can walk away with millions of dollars to spend on luxury vehicles, helipads, properties, businesses, weapons, or even car customizations. Either they are two different things or GI was so stupid that they had to mention customization 2 times in one sentence. If you're picking the latter, well then you need help. Clearly we can buy cars, why don't you stop looking at things the moronic way and use your common sense. It's something that seems to be lacking on this side of the forums though. THIS Now they will FINALLY have to make the cars (at least the ones we are using/have bought) stay where they are and not disappear when being parked during missions/freeroam. I agree. I love the fact that certain cars can only be gotten by purchasing them, but I want that purchase to benefit me. Ideally, I don't want to have to save it at a safe house and waste a parking spot. Maybe it can always spawn at one of the safe houses...and I dont want to have to repurchase it if I leave it on the street and steal another car, i'd like for it to respawn somewhere.
