Kifflom112
I hope this includes mobile safehouses like RVs. I know you like that Kifflom! But honestly, I'll only buy a car if they are exclusively sold or very rare. Good feature to have anyway. Yeah that would be cool. It seems we can buy everything in this game so it actually feels like you earn your stuff. Unless buying cars come with it's exclusives, I will still search for rare cars to steal as that is pretty fun. That is just so awesome!
Valamyr
Also given car moddability, you can make your car pretty different from random ones you come across. Thats pretty nice. But yeah, the problem is having to park it back. In past GTAs, even if you pimped a sweet ride, you couldn't really get alot out of it. It would just be lost as you start a mission or something. A mechanic to 'auto-garage' your own owned car when you start a mission would go a long way.
Inverted-Penguin
I have a feeling the Bugatti styled car is going be the most expensive! I'm getting that sh*t Have you got an image of that car? http://www.rockstargames.com/V/screenshots/screenshot/

zainzombie
With so much to spend on, making and saving money to buy every car you want will take some time. I loved doing it in Sleeping Dogs and I am glad it is confirmed. Plus it only makes sense to spend money customizing a car that you bought which I assume will re-appear at your garage when you abandon it or it blows up as compared to the stolen cars. douggoud
If it's not just limited to buying the luxury type cars, I'm definitely going to be buying the Ruiner, and the newer Mustang like car. This is gonna be awesome
King Of Monra
Finally I can OWN a car, rather than just stealing one and feeling like I am just driving a temporary vehicle (yes I am aware I am playing GRAND THEFT AUTO). Exactly. It might be grand theft auto, but the cars never feel like your own. This will change. Well, it would be weird if mister rich guy didn't buy cars, living in a mansion and going on a car theft? So I think buying cars fits nicely into the game. atleast for him

jperkovic
But honestly, I'll only buy a car if they are exclusively sold or very rare. Good feature to have anyway. This. They have to make it good and when you buy that car, you must have feeling that you actually spend money on it, and not that you can just steal it and it would be same thing. They must sell very rare cars and make this a good feature in game. But hey, this is Rockstar, we know they will do it right Edited May 7, 2013 by jperkovic
dxbrandon
Great, imagine flipping it upside down just as you leave the dealsership. Then it's back to robbing liquor stores. Ikr? You'll be mad at first, but then you'll realize how fun it was to put in the extra work for that special car that you been eyeing and been wanted to get for awhile. You really didn't have enough money to get that particular car (assuming car's are ingame expensive) then once you have enough money to finally get it, after all that hard work, you'll just to want to do it again because of how much fun it was to put in that time and work... That's my kind of fun lol.

guitarviking
If I buy a car, I want a few things:- Can't be found on the road to steal. - If left behind, it will spawn at the last garage/parking spot you saved it in. Hopefully this, as if it ain't in, it'd make no sense to buy a car... BUT!!!!!!!!!! I have been thinking on this for as long as I've seen the first trailer, and hoped they'd bring the car purchasing and storing in, and! Franklin : Aston Martin DB5 (Didn't mean 9, the DB5 is the most beautiful car ever afterall. Bond car!) lookalike, Huge ass Feltzer convertible (if possible, the mercedes we see in Trevor's trailer as he's choking the old man in a convertible version) and a huge ass range rover type car. f*ck the audi. Michael : Doh, any big 4 door luxury sedan, preferably a Rolls Royce look alike if it's in the game, if not, any Bentley / Mercedes will do. Trevor : Choppers! And some pickup truck, and / or a sports car. However.... What if we see some sweet ride coming towrads us, we steal it, and we change the number plates and store it in the garage... I mean, that'd work the same way, right? (Some probably won't spawn on the road in that case, since it'd be abit unfair to have the most expensive car before you start the first mission :b That can be real though, I mean, how often do you see a DB5 or a Bugatti? <.<) Edited May 7, 2013 by guitarviking
Grand Theft Auto TOM
Finally I can OWN a car, rather than just stealing one and feeling like I am just driving a temporary vehicle (yes I am aware I am playing GRAND THEFT AUTO). So true! Let's hope you can park your car to make a walk somewhere and when you come back, the car is still there. I mean, it is supposed to be YOUR OWN car. So I'm sure it will. Beee
ill bet that cars we buy, will just end up in either your garage or maybe some kind of a repo, once you left them somewhere or blew up and you have to go and pay some money to pick up your car some place.. Or if you get busted in that car. But I think if you destroyed your car, you should buy a new one. Basically, take care of it and don't use your new expensive car on dangerous missions... That's no fun. Whenever you got a rare car in the other GTA's, it sat at your safehouse, being useless unless you play and don't save the game. I'd quite prefer the Mafia 2 approach. f*ck up the car, and it'll appear in your garage, BUT you have to repair it first. (Obviously make it a bit more expensive than it was in Mafia 2, as well, that hardly made a dent in your wallet).

Aye, it would, and it would, while still not being terribly annoying (having to buy a new car over and over) punish you for messin' up your ride. Cars must re-appear in the garage otherwise buying cars will be a waste of money. There must be some advantage for buying cars.
