BullworthAcademy
For those who have played Max Payne 3, you will notice that the cutscenes were actually disguising the loading screens. This means that you could not skip cutscenes, you were greeted with a message at the bottom saying "still loading". This got annoying after you beat the game several times and you just wanted to skip the cutscenes and play. Do you guys think that this will be in GTA V? Mr. Scratch
God I hope not, that would make the game way too big in size and MP3 was linear so it worked there.
Grand Theft Savage
Of course not... We'll have the same ole traditional loading screens.
kj2022
it could have the option to skip the cutscenes and have a loading screen or just watch the cutscene for seamless transition.
Braindawg
MP3 was a leniar game. And in order to load the next part of the game without having you to stare at a rotating icon they used unskipable cutscenes to keep the player in the story. So no "I'm gonna get me a drink while this is loading" for you if you wanna know more about the story during loading times. WTF u want more? Diesel311
"The cutscenes play out similarly to Max Payne 3's, as you'll fluidly transition to gameplay once the scene is over". This is from the preview done by Destructoid.

This is from the preview done by Destructoid. Pretty sure this was also in the GI article. I know a bunch of people are going to flip out now and make a fool of themselves thinking it's going to be like Max Payne 3. Well it isn't. MP3 had a lot of stuff to load in-between chapters - which is why most of the time (yes, most - you can skip the cutscenes, I do it all the time) it took a while until it was finished loading. The cutscenes between chapters were videos. The ones in the middle of a chapter, like moving to the next area, were quicker to skip because it was rendered in real time - like GTA cutscenes. My point is, the loading times in GTA V won't be like MP3 because every cutscene in GTA is always rendered in real-time and the world is always already loaded from the start. So you won't have to sit through half of the cutscene in GTA V to wait until you can skip it. It's going to be like GTA IV, with the exception of the game-cutscene-game being smoother like MP3.
