Cilogy
We meet some sharks and swim up to the surface. Sharks follow and revolve around Trevor, and I hear that we now switch to Michael. I ask what happens if we switch to another character while the person we control is at risk, and get the answers that they are able to normally acceptable on its own, but if you replace the midst of a dangerous situation the person will naturally die. So judging by the rather sad translation (lol), it looks like there will be some logical continuity when you leave yourself in a dangerous situation and then switch characters. Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I mean, this just makes it feel more dynamic and realistic.
MosquitoSmasher
So what's the conclusion on that photo on the previous page, fake?
IDredMan
Things that are new to me: The map is squared, and dynamic. And the character selection is a menu that is displayed through the push of a button, I thought it was the buttons on the D-pad.
TheJasonGallant
So what's the conclusion on that photo on the previous page, fake? Yes. It's fake. And the character selection is a menu that is displayed through the push of a button, I thought it was the buttons on the D-pad. Yes! I knew that! Protagonist wheel confirmed! Now, let's wait and see if my other guess is right (the weapon wheel wich would include the protagonist wheel as well). MosquitoSmasher
So what's the conclusion on that photo on the previous page, fake? Yes. It's fake. Ok good good, cause i didn't like at all how ridiculously small the character is there, even smaller than RDR and MP3. And this started with RDR, that the character is a lot smaller compared to GTA IV. I don't like that change. Anyway, we don't have any proof that it's 100%? Usually someone finds the real source and most of the time it's a different game or just totally photoshopped. THis looks like the former. I do still wonder how they guessed about the rectangular map and how did they get trevor from the back....is that from a screenshot or something? Also that damn quadbike. I searched the pic on Tineye.com, which is a reverse image search thing, but nothing. Edited May 9, 2013 by MosquitoSmasher
wwinterj
Interesting parts I had not seen before: Trevor leaving detailed footprints in the sand Beach parties Add the mini map stuff to this and that's my list also. Thank you for posting TC!

Thank you for posting TC! Mini-map stuff? I wish we could debunk that photo though guys, cause it's kinda bothering me, lol. There has to be a source for the photo and it should be possible to simply debunk this.
jamieleng
Dynamic minimap! Sounds great! Not sure about square, but thats minor i dont really care, Im sure ill addapt to it if it makes it to the final design I imagine a square map will be able to show more & if you think about, the protagonist would be using their iFruit's GPS map app, obviously not running around with their phone out, this isn't Watch Dogs after all. A phone's screen is square (well rectangular), so it kinda makes sense, I guess.
BlackLightning
I never read about the new mini map before. That sounds pretty useful. But they better not have removed licensed music. That would suck.
iNero
I never read about the new mini map before. That sounds pretty useful. But they better not have removed licensed music. That would suck. There are already like 10 songs confirmed. Fergie, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Queen.... How could u think of that?
wwinterj
Mini-map stuff? Yeah: - On the map in the lower left corner there appeared a question mark. -Incidentally, the map yes. The traditional round map has been square in GTA V. I get no confirmation if this is the final look. -When you walk around on foot you can see the map from the top down, but if you go into a car changes the perspective of a more obliquely picture - just as it does on modern GPS's. -when we were in the air with Franklin map was replaced with horizontal lines - as has the HUD-one in an airplane. -Dynamic map, certainly a smart idea. Really interesting and sounds good too. I for one in GTA IV had sometimes a hard time seeing the line for my target, it should be much better now. Haha365
whether this is legit or not, I'll leave alone, though most of it I've heard already. One thing I hope is real, is the ability to hire aux team members and keep them on if they survive/are useful.
TheQuestfor100Percent
As everyone has said, the minimap thing is interesting. From what I just read, it sounds like the minimap turns into an actual GPS when you are driving, which I think will be much more useful than the way it is now. I can't tell you how many turns I have missed because of the top down view of the minimap.
05-BROCKY-05
I enjoyed this article!! i had watched/read the others from last week, but the depth of info in this article seemed a bit better to me, as if to almost make you feel you were playing it yourself, maybe this was just for me but still a good read. King Of Monra
If you are on google chrome, it will ask you if you want it translated. I'm not though. I could have done it myself, but I am far too lazy. No... That is how their demo started, not the full game... Big difference. my bad And OP, thanks. Ya its mostly recycled info, but there were a few new bits in there hadn't heard before. And the grammar problems were good for a laugh too (in a good way). Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I mean, this just makes it feel more dynamic and realistic. Yeah I liked that part too. Isn't this essentially the same sh*t we all got last Thursday? There are some new bits. OP, can you make a bullet-point summary? Would be helpful. I'll do my best.
