Jesus Piece
Er, haven't they already said the friend activities are back? They've already mentioned yoga and tennis and I'm sure there are others in the final game. I think the difference is that you have to call them to initiate them so that you aren't getting random phone calls at inopportune times.
Lil ski
Getting drunk!! And drunk driving. Safest way to have a drink and get behind the wheel and not do it for real and killing you and others.........and going to jail.........and paying hefty fines.......and ruining your career........... woggleman
When this game comes out some people will be complaining that it is too out there and not as good as IV. I won't because they have the craziness in a believable world that feels real which is what I wanted but there will be. Mark my words. Every game will be considered not as good as the last one by people who like to complain.

Every game will be considered not as good as the last one by people who like to complain. I disagree. I'll reserve judgement on V because we didnt play it yet (but it sounds the best so far) But IV was clearly a step back in MANY ways from San Andreas despite the graphics leap. It just cut too many features that were important for me (and V is bringing them back). San Andreas was however better than the (excellent) Vice City... Surely you can see its possible to voice a negative opinion of something without being systematically a naysayer.
Algonquin Assassin
See what makes me happy about GTA V is it seems to be a great compromise. I understand completely why not everyone liked what was in GTA IV as they were basically the foreground activities. I mean I like to go bowling, play pool etc in GTA IV, but understandably someone else may want to fly a plane, go cruising on an ATV etc. I like all of that stuff too. I just like my wind down sort of activities, but others have a different interpretation of that too I guess. Really I think what we have with GTA V so far if someone can't find something they enjoy they're not a gamer. The realism guys really have no reason to attack others that like the more crazy and over the top aspects of GTA V, but on the same token no one has any real reason to whine about things likes yoga, bowling etc as unlike with GTA IV there's plenty of alternative. That about sums it up I think. There should be enough to please both sides of the fence. Edited May 8, 2013 by Miamivicecity
