Hodgey.
This is a incredible story coming out of Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight have been kept captive in a mans basement, some for as long as 13 years. It does remind me in parts of the Joseph Fritzl story Daily Mail Link Sky News Link FOX News Link Seems the daughter of the kidnapper is just as f*cked up Edited May 7, 2013 by Hodgey1989

I<3GTAV
I'm from Cleveland, and it's all over the local news here. It's pretty crazy that they've been missing for 9-11 years. What have they been doing in there?
GTA_stu
Black people always give the best interviews. Incredible story though. Reminds me of the Natascha Kampusch and Jaycee Lee Dugard kidnappings.
Fireman
Those houses seem so close together and made out of wood, how couldn't anyone have noticed? Good they're found though, the phone call is amazing.
Saggy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqugsjslkAQ[/img] 911 call... Man... Is it too soon to autotune the news this sh*t? Also, we really need to retrain 911 operators QUOTE (K^2) ...not only is it legal for you to go around with a concealed penis, it requires absolutely no registration! Shoumaker
I find it amazing that they just left just because no one answered the door. They could have gone back later no? After a few attempts of no one answering the door. I believe the police would have became suspicious of how this home is always abandoned so they could have then gotten a warrant maybe to gain access? But it's fantastic to see them gain freedom after so long and what's great is that they still have their whole life ahead of them. The women are only 23, 26 and 32 respectively. Ex Hellraiser
I live near Cleveland, and yes, this truly is f*cked up. What I don't understand is how cops and investigators could monumentally f*ck up as bad as they have. I mean, they were found less than 4 miles from where they were kidnapped. 10+ years later! I mean, how could they have been hidden in such plain sight, and somehow not be found? I have a feeling this was way too easy. They couldn't have been there in that house for 10 years, and have no one come to the house in that time. Have no one hear them screaming, then suddenly, yesterday, one of them is seen screaming through the front door. The whole thing just doesn't add up... trip
I still don't think we know everything. Some stuff just isn't 'right'. Like why does the one girl have glasses? Where and how did she get them? It doesn't seem like these girls were overly abused or anything. I'm not saying it isn't a freaky ass event, but it isn't like my hometown favorite Gary Heidnik who kept his girls chained in a pit and fed them dog food. The one girl has a 6 year old child(presumably by one of her handsome captives). From the few seconds I saw the child looked pretty normal. Because this was three separate abductions it makes it even stranger. Could it really have been Stockholm syndrome gone that wacky? Edit: added link for heidnik since I just read it and it was fun. rudy
I knew something was wrong when a pretty little white girl ran into a black man's arms This is pretty awesome, it made my day. At first it seemed like another Jaycee Lee Dugard story, but I'm guessing there's more's to it. I mean Jaycee's captor kept her for himself, but the fact that there were three women in the house speaks more to human trafficking. Or maybe Castro just thought his brothers should have someone too? RomansMoobs
Being from the Cleveland area... just saying... take a look at some of the people they have pictures of that are standing around the guy who saved em. They all look like junkies. At least we're not Detroit! But seriously, this is a f*cked up case. they said they made the girls refer to them as "Daddy" and made them refer to the guys mom as "Grandma". Some f*cked up sh*t right there. Sex slaves most likely... Sadly, probably yes. Where do you think that 6 year old girl came from? I'm happy these women (can't stand that they're still calling them girls in the media) are safe, and now free. But I can't help thinking about how much of their lives were taken from them. They're still alive, but for 9 years they had nothing. And that poor 6 year old girl, born in captivity, she's never left that house.
El Dildo
What have they been doing in there? I'm sure they've been playing tea-party and baking cookies. by which I mean; I'm sure they've been kept as sex slaves in a basement. why else would 3 men keep 3 women alive after kidnapping them? sex slaves. obviously. Is it because they were both kidnappings?... No it's because all 3 houses had those lovely bay windows and well tended to chrysanthemums. Yes, the kidnapping thing. And the fact that they were all held captive for a long amount of time.
