kasparlaks Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 I've noticed there have been absolutely no 53ft dryvan trailers in GTA games? And from what I've seen from the GTA V trailers, none will be included in V either. All the trailers have been 48ft and below. That's quite unrealistic (not that I'm a realism whore), since nearly all the trucks in North America pull 53 footers. Back in the day (1960s - 1980s) they hauled cargo with 48ft trailers if they had a conventional truck. There were strict lenght laws back then, and when you wanted to pull a 53ft trailer behind you, you had to own a cab over. I would like to have 53ft trailers in the game, because of the gap between the tires and doors (makes it fun when someone rear-ends you). or is it too much of a hazzle? What do you think? There were semis in GTA:SA, but they could only be driven by the player (apart from one scripted mission). Perhaps the AI wasn't up to it back then. According to the trailers (the promotional ones) thus far, it appears as though we are getting ped driven semi articulated trucks for the first time.
