gtamann123
I don't think we'd have it yet, my guess was around end of May. But yes close enough. Gamer stores really need to hide those "Spring 2013" signs on their GTA V displays, every time I see one lately its the biggest tease. Exactly. A Tom if store still have spring 2013 on their Pre order promotional material. And i still have my spring 2013 poster from when I Pre ordered. It's a collectors item now
bowling...?
They had to delay it to add haircuts, tattoos, property ownership, and better graphics. These things are necessary for this game to be more than a 1 out of 10. Seriously though there could have been some bugs that were game breaking. StellarRunner
If there wasn't this 4 month delay, we'd still had no hair customization or buy able properties. Really you think that they don't have this in mind before the november preview? Elaborate. Previously they declared that the game will not have any hair customization or you won't be able to buy properties, now it is the contrary. hhamzah99
The true is that on Spring there was a bit competition and R* could lost some money. In September, they have no risks to lose any money because the "big games" come out at October/November. There isnt any competition for GTA or any Rockstar games games. /argument
GTAfan786
Actually we would still have 10 days to wait as it was meant to come out 17th. Who said that? I'm not aware of anyone especially Rockstar saying it was coming out on the 17th May. They just said the game was delayed by about 4 months. Because if 17th September is the new release date and is 4 months pushed forward from the original, the original was meant to be May 17th.
FiendishDog
When I watch the trailers, the game is still broken as f*ck or somebody at R* who edits the trailers has no eye for detail. Broken as f*ck? Really? What exactly is broken as f*ck? If it isn't editing, things like car models changing, lampposts disappearing. I call that broken. I edited the trailers, and I was just working with what they gave me. Dick.
CalgaryJay
It was most likely due out this month but right now it's more likely it wouldn't be out yet. We'd be so close though. It sucks but y'kno what really sucks? Playing a game that isn't finished, buggy and laggy as hell. ...so basically AC3 then? That game's especially painful, because at certain times its just oozing GOTY potential. But they clearly ran out of time, many of the side missions are obviously mailed in. I still liked it, but give it another 6 months and that game would've been 10 times better. Actually AC3 is the reason why I'm not that upset about the delay. It taught me that a delayed game is good eventually, whereas a rushed game is bad forever.

MilezDawg
When I watch the trailers, the game is still broken as f*ck or somebody at R* who edits the trailers has no eye for detail. Broken as f*ck? Really? What exactly is broken as f*ck? If it isn't editing, things like car models changing, lampposts disappearing. I call that broken. So you can tell by watching a few trailers that the game is "Broken" ? Dude your punctuation and spelling are broken, and so is your logic. Above
Yeah, it would be terrible to play an unfinished game. Let's just be happy that the game is coming soon.
urbanfire
The game truly never got delayed.. it went from spring 2013 to September 17th. I don't call that a delay I call that, R* giving a window to shut people up for a while. lol Straight out of the horses mouth: We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. So if R* themselves admit it is a delay, it is a delay. I just really wish they'd give us some gameplay trailer, like they did with RDR and Max Payne 3. After all, they are adding some really wierd stuff to the existing GTA formula (power ups anyone?)
IronZombie
People will jump to there own conclusions naturally but I do believe the delay is as black and white as it sounds. R* wanted more time to polish the game, get rid of as much bugs as they can and make everything look even better. Everything we know so far was in the game from the start. Had we got the game now I believe it would be the same product just more rough around the edges. They pretty much confirmed no property ownership or anything of the sort. I think the GI article went into detail about character customization to say that you can buy clothes. That was it.. now all of a sudden there are tattoos, haircuts, even personalized helmets. It seems like they went out of their way to add a lot of small RPG features that many people wanted but wasn't going to be in it in the first place. I guess I can live with a 4 month delay for that.. Triple Vacuum Seal
Time flies though. It's already been half a month since the "Worldwide Previews" and we are still feeding on scraps of info and flame wars to keep us somewhat entertained. R* hasn't even started their "innovative marketing campaign" either. It will be well worth the wait. "shut up, sit down, relax"
Dick Justice
It's been 3 and a half months since the delay and the game comes out 4 months to this day. The delay really doesn't feel like it was that long ago, does it?
GTASeriesFan
I would rather wait 4 more months and have a PERFECT game, than have a game that is not 100%. I mean Rockstar definitely added some cool things because of the delay. You can buy cars and property now which is pretty awesome.
