My choice would be Franklin. He's useless, a bit of a gym junkie, and too much of the stereotype. With driving being his unique ability, I could live without it, as I'd rather have 2 average drivers, 1 expert pilot, 1 expert smarts/weapons guy. But if I have to pick up one maybe Franklin, he's not so "unique" than the other characters, it's a mix between the CJ and Luis Lopez in my opinion, but I would save a savegame slot before of that... I like that... But Franklins trailer was just... well... the trailer itself was full of action, but Franklin is somehow not authentic enough, to be loved by me... he is just to serious, and somehow rememberes me at the depressing GTA IV story (although it was a good story, it was very very dark)... to much hate, and anger in Franklins trailer... its just my opinion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No seriously, all 3 characters are very interesting. I couldn't choose one as of now. And I really don't feel, that the story will enforce us to leave one protag behind, since all character specific side activities would be gone from that point for example... It doesn't mean just because Franklin is the better driver that he cannot shoot lol. Or because Michael's the marksman, he can't pilot a plane. ALL the characters can do ALL of these things well. It's just that each one has their strength. Now, I can't say who would I kill because I would like to play the game until that point in the story. UnknownMale Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 im not sure where all the criticize toward franklin came from, considering uve never actually get ur hands-on the game and tried him out. i bet rockstar is hiding from us some big part, like look. so far they didnt really tell anything about him, even in the trailer they just showed us a bunch of action parts without any new information about his character itself. OT: i think that would be michael, cause he doesnt bring anything new to the table when it comes into heists unlike franklin who is a skilled driver, as for trevor hes a good pilot and good with his hands and has the abillity to take more damage or something like that. so my first guess it would be michae, but again. who knows? rockstar has showed us a faint glimpse from the game, mostly part of the city and a lil bit information about the characters. but im sure theres a lot of more to come Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

zainzombie Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Im pretty sure no one will die. Rockstar has to be super dumb to repeat the same story twist in 2/3 of their latest games. Plus GTA games should always end with the happy endings. One of the reasons why I loved San Andreas is the ending scene with all of CJ's friends and family in his mom's house partying and then rolling into credits.. it still gives a great feeling to even watch it on YT. It sets a good tone as in.. "yay you ended the game, thanks to you all is well in the world now. Go explore the map and have fun with it, you deserve it". If this was another RDR game, then maybe, but it doesn't seem right to do that to a gta game. But just for the fun of it, lets say one does die, I would have to say that I have to play the game first and get them to grow on me, then I can see who I like the best.
