d3ex2
if half of the world is water it doesnt mean much too me, Im not spending all my time swimming around Half of 5 is 2.5 not 1.5. The ocean only takes up less than 1/3 of the map. Land is over 2/3's.
nealmac
People need to learn how to put figures into context. A map measuring 6 x 6 miles in NOT 6 sq miles. It's 36 sq miles. I'm just saying. It's very confusing when people say it wrong.
tinman187
Sorry I havent played red dead so I dont know the size, but can someone tell me how many Gta 4 maps I can fit in a red dead map? -Thank you. Looks huge Just picked up Red Dead for the first time last week after the preview's. The map is gigantic!!! I'd say it's twice the size of GTA IV. 3.5 X 2 = 7 So therefore 7 times bigger than GTA IV. If you include the underwater stuff - that makes it 10 x bigger Mind = Blown!!!! Red Dead so far for me is f*cking awesome!!! Do yourself a favour and play it!!! The random event's in this game is so awesome. Can't wait to how it play's a part in V. Just yesterday I saw a dude hop of his horse and take a piss right in front of me, So I shot him in the head. It may not be a big deal to some of you who have played it, but for me seeing that for the first time was quite awesome lol
DS 17
The map 3.5 times the size of Red Dead Redemption in terms of playable area above ground. -gtav.net/ 2 IV=1 RDR V=3.5 RDR 2x3.5 =V V= 7 IV It's not going to be any less than 7 GTA 4's If that calculation is correct then that is amazing. Been playing IV recently and that is just wow. Oh and to think that is only the land mass not including water! Just calculated on the assumption RDR is 7 and IV 3 mi² big. So I got 6.125 mi².
