GlitzyTomb
I kinda hope we get some lower tech firearms for Trevor. Not a make or break issue (almost nothing could be) but I would love to be able to carry around a Ruger Mini 14 or perhaps an old Elk or Deer Rifle. A nice basic shotgun, pump action, pistol grip or not. A revolver or two. Perhaps one .357 or .38 S&W equivalent and one big daddy .45 Revolver. Desert Eagle would always be fun too though that's more modern. Maybe even a bandolier...wouldn't really make sense...but I could see Trevor wearing one anyway, because he's Trevor. solofme
And with a game this huge we are definitely gonna get some cool myths and after RDR undead nightmare some of them may even be true
zainzombie
Oh a love a rainy night......................... I want K-rose to return! My alltime favorite GTA radio station. Me too. On topic: I think the countryside will definitely have that vibe. I think it will be better than San Andreas and there will be alot of detail... alot of little things to give that vibe. StrapfordLondon
always enjoyed searching for the myths in GTA SA out in the countryside, even though i knew they didnt exist! still was good fun & pretty creepy!
MichaelAmadheo
All i want to feel when i'm roaming around the countryside is like "hell, finally i'm so far away from the city, let's go camping!"
Kifflom112
I don't understand what you mean 'detached' from the map of course it's attached you noob Do you have mental issues? Of course I had to have one stupid comment. If you read properly, I said detached from the city, you noob.

Kifflom112
I hope it feels eerie in some places too, odd sounds and you thought you just saw something in the corner of your eye. Just imagine the myths, investigations, all of the odd stuff that will go on in the woods and desert.
Above
I didn't really feel the countryside in GTA San Andreas. It should be quite easy to improve that aspect in GTAV.
Gtaman_92
The countryside in San Andreas did not feel all that big. The only part of the map that felt big and isolated was the desert. I hope that in GTA V it takes a while to get around the countryside instead of a few mins.
gta5freemode4eva
I cant wait to chill out in the countryside and take in the sights and sounds of the relaxing atmosphere. Gonna be epic I reckon they will make it feel like it is completely separate from the city, lol, it'll be like an in-game holiday
Kifflom112
Man I hope we can purchase a nice house situated in the countryside. Like purchase a cozy wooden two story with a detached garage in the woods/desert. Just relax and enjoy the countryside with all it's quietness. Mcquiz
Maybe I should play RDR. People on here are always comparing it or referring to it. I have no idea what it's like. You lucky sob, you haven't even experienced Red Dead Redemption yet......I really wish i could play that game for the first time again. Before GTA V that was my most anticipated game by far. You really need to get on that brother. Brilliant game. I agree. If you haven't played Red Dead Redemption, you have to. Even more so if you're excited for V (which you obviously are). RDR should easily offer 4 months of enjoyment to pass the time as you wait for V. You'll be able to get it really cheap as well. Agreed and cosigning with the above people. +1 Finally said f*ck it and bought RDR a few months ago, if you're a GTA fan this game is a must. I disagree, playing it for the first time is cool of course but after that there's really nothing that keeps you playing for long. I am regretting that I bought it, I got all the necessary experience from walkthroughs.

One of the best gaming related choices of my life, bar none. That said, I have high hopes for the countryside this time, while I loved San Andreas' it allways felt lacking, now with random encounters, the occasional group of people enjoying some recreational activites in some areas, as well as Animals, and such should make the place feel less like filler and more like a living breathing place with it's own pace compaired to that of Los Santos. Can't wait to go out into the desert and just let loose on those open roads in the fastest cars in the game, or go off roading though the woods, or just go on a hike, and enjoy GTAV's offical pass time, RPG hunting, it's exactly like it sounds, and is compairable to the famous Far Cry 3 RPG hunting. I concur. RDR is my favourite game of all time, with GTA IV a close second. The III era GTAs were obviously great, but the atmosphere that the current gen has brought to games is just amazing, and RDR is IMO the best atmosphere of any game I have ever played. LennonNL
Yeah, I hope you get small towns situated throughout the countryside, I don't like the idea of having this 'huge map' and half of it just being endless fields, rocks and trees! That's one thing I thought about RDR - although it was an amazing game, the map felt empty and just endless dry land!
Meezarawcks
Yeah sorry about just posting and bouncing but there are a bunch of new screens and that just dropped my jaw. Just imagine the myths, investigations, all of the odd stuff that will go on in the woods and desert. I think that would be awesome, but I'm a bit skeptical about it since we will now have a musical score. It worked with RDR, I hope it works with V. What kind of music do you think we'll get out in the wilderness?
