So Rockstar, can we get some Episodic DLC like The Lost and Damned/The Ballad of Gay Tony but with characters like Lamar and other newly introduced GTAV characters.

Call it Grand Theft Auto V: All in the Family or another creative name and have it feature Lamar and it should tell his story and why he started banging/entering the crime life. It should take us DEEP into the depths of the gang life. CJ's story didn't even scratch the surface of Gangs.

As Lamar, we should be allowed to make choices of digging a deeper hole into the lifestyle or building a ladder to successfully climb out and away from that "Death Style" as Lil Monster from the Eight Tray Gangster Crips, puts it.

People want to downplay the gang life and say "go play San Andreas", but fail to see how that life truly is. Lamar seems like a cool dude, he simply lives by STREET CRED. PERIOD. He doesn't want to be looked down as a "sellout" if you may, that's why he's so down for his hood. And I respect that. But living that life has consequences and "All in the Family" should portray that.

AITF should be the first of it's kind to introduce a PRISON SYSTEM/JAIL SYSTEM.

Getting busted for petty crimes lands you jail time, and felony crimes lands you in prison. You'll meet new characters who can give you odd prison jobs, words of advice, then the character is allowed to lay in the prison bed to advance Lamar's sentence to get out of prison.

You are given the choice to advance the sentence in the amount of time of your choosing. Then once you get out, you will have new connects and persons of interest who'll aid you on missions or give out new missions.

Just some ideas I've had on my mind for a while. Would love some input on more characters and episodes from San Andreas.

I'd rather have something game-changing like Undead Nightmare. The episodes were good, but they were basically core IV with improvements. So, whenever I play IV, I don't touch core IV because it's a downgrade from the dlc. On the other hand, Undead Nightmare is a whole different experience from core RDR, so it doesn't take away from the core game itself, and instead enhances the experience of the package.

Basically, the way I see it is: core IV = 20gb ps3, episodes = 80gb ps3, Undead Nightmare = decent gaming PC. If I buy a better ps3, I'm really not going to be touching the old one, but if I buy a new PC instead, I'll still be playing my ps3 but when I want to experience something different, I'll play on my PC.

I'd imagen the DLC's for this game being more like Saints Row where a few extra missions are added.

I just read there wont be Episodic DLC similar to IVs TLaD and TBoGT. However even with hearing this there are reports from the T2 CEO saying that the DLC for GTA V will revolutionize DLC and multiplayer the way IVs DLCs did first. For some reason Im thinking the DLC might be a big co-op campaign.

They did say there wasn't going to be any EFLC size DLC, but people seem to be underestimating just how large those TLaD and TBoGT were. They were massive and had a price tag to match that. What Rockstar learned was that when people see a DLC for such a high-price, people won't pay for it, no matter how content rich it is. Undead Nightmare was a shorter, more-concise DLC that was arguably just as content rich for how it changed the way the game is played as DeafMetal mentioned, yet it was also cheaper than the Episodes of IV, so people paid for it.

I've stated before that I think the best game-changing DLC idea is one where you play as a cop. There is a desire for it, as seen in that awesome GTA IV mod, and it adds a completely different way to approach the game/GTA World.

We already get to experience gang life as Franklin. Lamar DLC is terribly uninspired.

I'd rather play as Officer Vasquez (the lady cop)... you know, something that feels and plays different than the main game. I'd also be fine if R* skipped DLC altogether.

That would be beyond awesome, though I really don't want Rockstar to skip DLC. As a company, for the most part, they're very creative when it comes to downloadable content, and there add-ons are usually quite deep and content rich. The thing about games like GTA and RDR is they offer such a great model for fantastic downloadable content. They're worlds are already rich and vibrant, so all Rockstar need to do is add content and create new stories within the existing world. If the map for V is as big as they are claiming, I doubt that it will all play into the story. DLC could further add to the exploration down the path.

I believe Rockstar already announced that they weren't doing Episodic content like last time. Besides adding anymore playable characters would be overkill. I'd be fine with Red Dead type of DLC as long as it doesn't add anything to the regular story like I didn't buy a complete version of RDR. DLC really should just be for multiplayer or a new story mode altogether.

No, they said they aren't going to make Episodic DLC. Costs too much for something so small.

^ Yes! Smaller cheaper DLC's make more money than larger more expensive ones. The main reason R* made EFLC was because Microsoft paid them $50 million for it.
