Your own armored cars

I'm sitting here watching the military channel and the show on making bullet resistant cars... I can't help but think that with all the car customizing and thousands of dollars we can spend on our cars, we should be able to make our investments last longer. I am going to hate it when i get my car tricked out to the max and i accidentally bump a cop car and get my Infernus shot up with bullets. I can't ditch it and let it despawn but I don't want to feel like i cant have fun when i drive. If you could add protection to your car, you could A: Use them for get away vehicles for heists B: Protect your investments and C: Perfect rampage vehicles.

 

So who else agrees that you would like to add Armour to your cars so you don't get shot in the head through your windshield and you can survive a Patiot ram.

I'm reminded of those cars business men and ambassadors drive, bullet-proof sedans, etc. It'd be cool to get my hands on one of those.

I hope for this feature too. The thing about up-armoring a vehicle is that it adds crazy amounts of weight, decreasing performance by more than half sometimes. I would like to be able to get armoring but at the cost of making the car slower.
