How much time off you taking to play GTA V?

I guess I fall into "Not taking time off" as I have nothing to take time off from.

Well, I like my job, it's fun. And I only work until 5 anyway so it's not that bad.

It may be stupid, but why would you take time off to play a game? It's not like it's gonna change the world or something..

Cause i've been waiting 3 years for this game to arrive, and then nearly cried when they pushed it back several months on me. So help me i'll get at least 2 days off work and school to enjoy this game after all that patience.

I think I will get the GTAV flu for a couple of days, and then I plan to savor GTAV for months, mixing exploration and minigames with gradual long term mission completion. I'm gonna make it last.

The anticipation is extremely high. Plus, it's not like I'll get anything done at work, I'd just be sitting there thinking about GTA anyway.

I'll just make sure that the 17th is free. The entire day will be spent playing it. When the weekend arrives I will have a marathon. 24 hrs will be easy but gonna try for 48. Wake up early on Saturday, get washed/dressed, have breakfast, attend to my cats, clean the house up then just sit playing the game until Monday arrives. I'll only then get about 5-6 hours of sleep before I need to get up and out the house. Only time I will stop is to go to the bathroom and looking after my cats. I'll order a take away to be delivered and I'll eat it in front of my TV.

 

I love playing video games and I love my cats. So what???

Meh, I am not taking time off. I will get the game that Tuesday and I'll either play it when I get from work, or I'll just wait till that weekend to play and enjoy the game. Doing the latter, I WILL avoid this forum lol.

i'm gonna take the 17th off work (if I have a job by then lol ) but i'm onl doing it because I've never taken a day off work for a video game before lol

I wouldn't take time off anything to play any video game. I know it's going to be an amazing game but there are still more important things.

11 days... Was supposed to be going on holiday the 15th, but that changed and then V was given the 17th. How's that for timing?
