dagangsta
As seen is some trailers, especially in the beginning of the Trevor one, we can clearly see that Dodge Ram 3500 like vehicle is towing a trailer or something, so I'm pretty sure that we will be able to do it and maybe also put a quad bike or a bike or even a car etc. on a trailer and move it around San Andreas. What do you think about it and how do you think we will attach and detach it from the car, tractor, truck... ?
GTAgamersquirrel
I'm 100% sure we will be able to attach/detach trailers to trucks, and its one of the main reasons why I am excited to play GTAV. As for how, I believe you will just back up to the trailer and it will pop on like in SA. For detaching, maybe you can press x or one of the bumpers. TripleRob
I'm just really excited to drive a semi truck with a trailer attached. Just think of all the possibilities....hitting a deer with a semi lol.

True, imagine these 18 wheelers with a massive trailer attached to it ridin thru a desert highway. and for detaching then maybe you go outta the car, come up to the tow bar etc. and you press L1 same for attaching a trailer to a car, not a truck. jamieleng
That's kind of elementary. If you see a vehicle on the road in a trailer, then you can drive it. I'm pretty there'll be many things you can tow, including a speedboat, car/bike trailer. Tractors might pull agricultural equipment, like ploughs, threshing machines. Big Rigs towing yachts (although this could be the one thing that is mission only), 20 & 40ft shipping containers (hopefully you can open & load them), car transporters. This is just the tip of the iceberg & can't wait to see how difficult it'll be (and it will) to keep them under control, plus how much carnage you can cause with the bigger haulers. canadian_wakenbacon
I'm 100% sure we will In GTA:SA, we could hook up a trailer but we could not tow anything it would slip off it seems R* has adressed this issue going by the screenshots and trailers. So a shweeeetttt idea for MP: Get a buddy to hook up a flatbed trailer to a truck, you and another buddy load up your tanks on the faltbed, roll down the high and fire away! unstopabble rolling tanks of thunder! GTAgamersquirrel
Multiplayer experience: Your racing down a mountain road in a Semi with other online players racing up the mountain with cars, once you see them in the distance take a hard right and detach the trailer, then watch in aw as the trailer tumbles down the mountain road and the online players cower in horror as they try to dodge the oncoming trailer. If it's anything like real life, it ought to be difficult. I have a sportcruiser myself and whenever I don't have it docked and need to transport it, oh it's a bitch. So I hope it's somewhat easier in GTA V. – overeducated wonk who fetishises compromise
gta5freemode4eva
I'm really excited for this. I think if we can attach/detach trailers then we should be able to do it on most vehicles and we should be able to put stuff in/on the trailer. It would be cool to put a quad on the trailer, go out to the desert (or wherever) and the drive off the trailer. It would kinda give us a sense of ownership and a bit more immersion. Sounds odd but that's what I think.
Ciaran
I Hope some regular cars come with a hitch to tow stuff, I guessing they might though as we seen in Trevors Trailer, The Pickup towing the Recreational trailer and Generator Edited May 6, 2013 by gtavpoliceimprovements

So I hope it's somewhat easier in GTA V. I haven't played SA in years but I remember the truck & trailer needing a lot more thought & skill to keep it all on the road. Just like the reverse 180 you could do in most cars in IV, which looked & felt cool to do, but was relatively easy to pull off. I hope we can jacknife the trucks & possibly have the trailer detach to cause absolute carnage on the freeways.

I don't think we'll be able to haul ATVs around. That's awfully wishful thinking. Why are people always "pretty sure" of something when there hasn't been any hint of it? Also I don't think we'll be able to haul it around San Andreas. Probably just around the Los Santos area, and out to the nearby desert and mountains. Kifflom112
Towing could be a pretty awesome feature. Being able to tow useable boats, have a semi that can carry a Marquis - that small yacht. It's gonna' be fun. I just hope.they things we pull won't break off so easily.

I think the reason we want to be sure (well, really hoping and wishing) that we can haul stuff is that other wise it'll be another GTA4 Forktruck... in other words, freaking useless! I understand it could just be cosmetic, but it'll be another bummer if they don't make these items usable. They are what made San Andreas awesome imo. Loadsa fun. VLongo92
Putting the submarine on a flatbed and taking it to the Alamo sea and the rivers. Or taking a car carrier online and driving around collecting supercars, and people will try to steal them. But I'll have C4 on the trailer and dive out killing them all
MetalGrand
I would love to be able to tow a quad out to the desert and ride around. One problem though that might happen is that if you ride too far, your truck and trailer may disappear. If not, this would be a great feature to me.
