wwinterj
It's no big deal switching disks in my opinion. Had plenty of practice with Final Fantasy games back in the day. Didn't have any issue with the Mass Effect games either However for a game like GTA it might brake immersion. If you have a choice get it on PS3 if not go with 360. Nothing can be done about it. It's just the way the 360 is. Hell Metal Gear Solid: Legacy collection won't be coming to the 360 as it would require to many disks. Having more than one disk isn't something I'd lose sleep over though. Maybe R* will put the online part of GTA V on disk 2 or something like that. I'm sure they know what they are doing. DODI3OG
If there's a disk that's an optional install I'd imagine it'd contain the radio stations. That's the most obvious thing that could be separately installed and yet not completely required. But I am very curious as to how R* will handle it. There's absolutely no way it's a 1-disk game on 360. I've been thinking the same, so people with 4gb slim (or 20Gb, first gen 360) aren't completely screwed. Unlike in BF3, in GTA textures are only a small part of the game That was the case in III-era. In IV (pc version), textures and audio are about the same. (maybe on consoles not though) @Everyone, don't forget that a 360 DVD can now use the full 7.95gb, instead of 6.8gb. It's not THAT much, but still almost 1.2gb. None the less, no way this game will fit on one DVD, I expect one disc mandatory install. Story is relatively small compared to the entire map and radio stations, so dividing that seems kind of silly. A seperate disc for multiplayer like a lot of people say is BS. Especially since you can acces MP so easily just by pressing down on the D-pad. This. Good point. The logical explanation why MP won't have its own disk is that GTA V MP will use THE SAME MAP AS THE SP. It should be a mandatory install, so there won't be swapping of disks. And, there's also no way of sh*t getting divided. AS I've said before, the models will be on one disk and the audio and the rest will be on the other. You have no choice in the matter if you only own a 360. So of course, it makes perfect sense not to make it a big deal. MosquitoSmasher
I own both systems, but my choice will be 360 100% , it's just that simple. I always buy third party games on 360 and i will do that again. I'll also be spending a sh*tload of time on doing just nonsensical BUT fun stuff and not bothering with the main story at all. I've done that with every GTA and with this one, i bet i will be doing that a whole lot longer. As for swapping, i'm guessing it's going to happen later on in the story. No freaking way will you have to swap to enter another part of the map or whatsoever.
Grand Theft Savage
Just keep thinking and... I HAVEN'T yet played a game with Mulitple Disks except Halo. What is the Big Deal with the Discs? Will it effect the gameplay in anyway? or is it just for Missions? Not sure if this sounds dumb but thanks. It isn't that big of a deal. Play L.A Noire or Max Payne 3. It's annoying as f*ck.
