It might not have had a perfect framerate, but the trailers weren't lagging. Absolutely no way can i see any lag. The game did have lags, but thats all. You're really over exaggerating. You can't blame the PS3 and PC because it was a port from the 360.

Kind of true but don't you think it's logic that GTA V WILL have stable frame rate? FFS, i agree IV had lags and frame rate drops but i've already gave the reason. So no need to worry.

The first V trailer was slightly laggy. Check out the traffic, or when the guy is pushed out the club.

 

The recent 3 trailers were all very smooth. Except for a slight bit of lag showing the plane flying towards the camer. Overall though V will be smooth , I am confident of this . The countryside will mean less to render, the city as well - being low lying and more 'spread out' should mean that the dense Algonquin scenery which caused problems shouldn't do so in V.

 

As mentioned, RAGE has been optimized too.

Audio being out of sync isn't the game fault, notice all GTA trailers have sounds applied in post-production.

it didnt change. i also posted gameplay one page before and you can clearly see the framerate drop

I played over 200h on my PS3 and can't remember me getting annoyed of a bad framerate. Maybe I don't have an eye for smth like this but I think you guys are overreacting.

This is also my number 1 concern, cause it was pretty noticeable in GTA IV. It has certainly dipped to below 20 on my PS3 during some intense shootouts, and for me, it's a real gamebreaker.

 

However, when comparing the trailers of GTA IV with the new GTA V trailers I think it's pretty safe to say that V will definitely be a much more smooth experience. Rockstar has been working with the Rage engine for almost a decade now, half of it is V development. I'm positive they'll release a product that is technically sound!

It's very likely that GTA V is optimized because Rockstar isn't an IDIOT like the OP who's worrying about the FPS of the game.

Yes, the map is very big, but what you can see on screen are the only ones loaded. And, the farther they are, the less hassle it does to the RAM.
