You're not paying a developer like Rockstar who worked so hard in 5 years to make a game like this. You won't find another company like them at all. The store is willing to trade with a gift voucher instead of money. They're the ones losing out by trading with something that is mostly perceived to have no value elsewhere. But it's YOUR choice You know that he's still supporting them right? The person who bought the gift card for him/her payed the store. People in general hated the game and it had a ridiculously-high trade-in rate.
