The US has as much gun crime as Yemen by the way.

People like you, who are obsessed with disarming the weak and vulnerable in the name of "safety" and/or "peace", really scare me. Honestly, your attitude and behavior remind me of eugenicists.

 

 

Also, more than 4/5ths of the "gun crime" in Yemen is in fact terrorism.

I don't understand why Europeans are so willing to let the government have so much power over them. And let the government be the only ones with weapons. Makes no logical sense to me.

I think they will lampoon, or just simply take the p*ss out of it. They have done in the past with the Ammunation ads on the radio. I don't see V being any different. In fact with all the recent events they may be inclined to do it more so.

You must be new here and not know who I am. I am actually pretty poor with my family income sitting barely above the poverty level. Could be worse but I am damn sure not rich and really not even working class. I belong to the working poor class. I live in a sh*tty apartment in a crappy (not as bad as Chicago but getting worse) neighborhood. I go to a sh*tty poor underfunded school. But do I bitch and complain about my situation? No. When I talk about leeches and losers I'm not talking about poor people in general I am talking about the ones who expect others to take care of them. I'm poor because my parents have poor education and made bad choices when they were younger. But I don't expect the successful to provide for me. I think the leeches need to stop making excuses and actually do something for themselves and try to inprove their situation like I am doing. Which is getting good grades which is getting me a good amount if scholarship money for college. And getting a job. I have never had a job ever and I am going to walk into my first job ever this summer making $12/hr working for a manufacturing company. Not flipping burgers at BK for minimum wage which wouldn't actually do anything for me. I contacted a temp agency and got a real job.

 

Edit: I'm out of this thread. Political arguments are what f*cked up my Facebook and twitter to the point I don't use them at all anymore. I don't want GTAF to be the same way. I'm going to try to avoid political arguments from now on it If can muster it.

1. You assume me to be a textbook conservative even though that is not the case, in reality i'm a socially right-leaning volountarist.

How is no "reform" after a debate a joke? The politicians actually did their job for once and and voted in line with their constituents. The proposed reform would do nothing to lesson gun violence/crime in this country nor would hit have prevented any mass shooting in the last 10 years. It was nothing more than a party line BS dog and pony show. I could debate you for hours on this issue and use only facts to demolish any argument you have that was for this legislation but I don't want to clog up a gaming thread with a political debate. The American people have spoken. Shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed. Go look up the FBI statistics over the last decade and watch gun violence drop year over year while NICS increases. Over 80% of murders committed with guns in the US are gang related black on black crime. Sandy hook, Columbine, Aurora etc are the isolated minority of gun crime. Oh and by the way, Columbine occured during the AWB so how did that work out for you? You want to solve gun crime in this country? Focus on gang crime and the pharmaceutical industry.

No reform could stop people from commiting the crimes. Most of them are done by people who own the firearms illegaly, so even taking them away from the law-abiding would NEVER stop the criminals from owning guns. If you want to make the society safer, you should give people the guns and make sure as many of them own them as possible. Why is that? First - it's the person that kills, not the tool. If you are a criminal that wants to murder somebody, you don't need to own a gun. You can take a kitchen knife, a car or even a damn stone. Second - like I said, making weapons illegal won't stop the criminals from owning them. It would end up with the law-abiding ones not being able to defend themselves, while the criminals would easily be able to kill others. As an example, I can brag out the Gun Free Zones, in which most of the mass shooting take place. Guess why is that? It's because the criminals know that in such places there are no armed people who could defend themselves, so it's easy to go inside an kill everybody without being responsed with fire. By taking guns away from people, the whole damn country would be like this gun free zone. No people with guns - easy for criminals to take their illegaly owned weapon and start killing everyody. It takes on average, about 10 minutes for the police to arrive.

By having more armed, good people on the streets, you would make them definetely much safer. That's because there would always be someone to stop a criminal that is about to commit, or already has commited a crime. And like I said - mostly with illegal guns, so no reform would ever stop them.

I'm positive that it wouldn't be impossible to get your hands on on some guns even living where you can't legally own a one. There will always be gun trafficking for those involved with organised crime.

 

I cannot adequately describe how f*cking pissed I'd be if they made buying and owning a gun illegal here I'm not one for violence but you try to take my guns away I'll take your life or die trying. Just because they make guns illegal it doesn't make me or anyone else any less capable of killing people I could f*cking kill someone with my fists I suppose we should cut everyones hands off or I could stab someone with a fork we should take silverware away....
