I wonder if they heard the mission complete jingle once Michael finished the stranger mission in the preview. Someone should ask the CVG guys if they heard it so we can get a clue on what the main theme will sound like.

Well there were two versions (maybe more, but that's what I can remember), which seemed to depend on the tone of the mission at the end. One was like a snippet of the main theme (which you described), and the other was a slow, contemplative little "jingle" (which the guy you quoted described).

 

EDIT: Having checked up on it, there's more like five.

There are 75+ to be exact. They all have a different vibe. Try using sparkIV or OpenIV.
