Xayias
After reading this in the newest Preview Summary on GTAV.Net's homepage I am curious to know what movies will be mocked at by R*. "Michael's obsession with classic films translates into in-game set pieces based on real world movies. In the demo the three characters mount a heist very similar to the one from Heat." - gtav.net So clearly 'Heat' will be in the game but I wonder what else could take a part in GTA V? Also talking about movies, I think with the whole Vinewood theme it would be neat to actually have like movie sets scattered around the map. Have real time events of movies being made and you can intervene! That would be cool and when I first read that quote I thought that is what they were talking about. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Plainview
very similar to the one from Heat So clearly 'Heat' will be in the game lol
Raptomex
Maybe a reference to Collateral or Training Day. You can almost pick any classic movie set in LA. Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Terminator, etc. But that movie that reference heists? Other than Heat and L.A. Takedown I don't know many but I'm sure there's more. _SMOKEY_
I'm assuming any movie that has made an impact will probably be parodied; Avatar, Transformers, fast & Furious, Iron Man, etc

Chukkles
What was that crap about dan houser saying" I don't watch movies or things like breaking bad because it may influence game making decisions" or some crap. Now this whole aspect of Michael is about taking ideas from other media.

I think "dead presidents" is we're the idea of ramming a securicar with another truck came from. The very beginning of Heat is exactly how they described the heist in the GTAV demo. Right down to the clothes they were wearing.
Dick Justice
I think "dead presidents" is we're the idea of ramming a securicar with another truck came from. The "dead presidents" is an awesome copycat thing, though I doubt they'll be able to include the actual faces of real life presidents in the game. Though there are several routes they could go with pre-existing politicians in the HD universe: Thomas Stubbs, Michael Graves, John Hunter, Bryce Dawkins, etc. I'm sure there will be some new politicians in V as well to imitate. redz72
heat, the score, the place beyond the pines, the town, oceans 11, dead presidents, inside man, set it off, thief, killing them softly, drive...that's all i can think of for now but i can for sure see some of the scenes in each of those movies recreated in gta v. Oh yea and Takers and Armored. Edited May 6, 2013 by redz72

hobodealerr
Heists wise, I can see Rockstar putting in a heist similar to Stanley Kubrick's, "The Killing". I think there will also be some similarities between Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs" and GTAV.
ugotsmoked
The beginning of the Dark Knight had a great heist scene.

Yeah what was that about? I remember that quote from a long time ago and ever since I heard about this movie stuff that Micheal's inspired by and seen the obvious Heat references in screens/trailers I'm brought back to the quote and think to myself "riiiiiight.." sometimes. you look very strange. somewhat smiling. a little vain. saying not today.
