We got quite a bit of info latel an personlly Im happy with what I heard so far but R* stated they still managed to keep majority of the game a secret. That sounds pretty awesome. That gives me hope that other things on my wishlist may be in. The 2 main ones are... Character Communication - Basically being able to communicate with the characters (peds or friends) wether in free roam or on a mission. Being able to ask charaters things or respond to their questions or remarks by locking onto to them and using the d-pad wouldve been cool IMO. Imagine the humor that would come from this. Also while on missions we should be able to tell them what to do like up on the d-pad = follow, down = cpu takes control, etc. Not a deal breaker but this is really the only thing I see left to add as far as interaction with the characters. 1st Person Driving - Right now the view is from the outside of the car and on the hood. The view should be from inside the car where we can see the dash and our hands on the wheel. Here are some examples of a 1st person driving mod in GTA4. If gamers can do it with mods then I know R* can. Also, if we're the passenger then it should be like when you take a taxi in GTA4 where you can look round from inside the car like so. Could you imagine being able to reach over the driver and shooting that cop or being able to aim our gun out of the windows and shoot instead of the camera switching to 3rd person like in GTA4? I was sure after seeing the 1st person passenger view in GTA4 and the 1st person driving mods for the PC R* would give us 1st person driving/passenger in GTA5 but so far it seems to be the same "on the hood view" that was in GTA4. Now if these things arent in I wont be disappointed at all but it would really be a nice touch if they are present. Thoughts? Especially because it's realistic. 1st person driving was always something I would love to see in Grand Theft Auto. Hope R* implemented both of the features. Could be pretty sweet if you can communicate with Trevor and Franklin and cruise the map with them! I'm hoping for: Cage fighting competitions. Gambling/poker. Yeah as you can see it shows the dash when in the heli (did in GTA4 too) but goes to the hood view when in the car. Hopefully its bcuz they havent finished it yet. Also, we should get 1st person passenger like the taxi in GTA4 when our friends drive (assuming we will be able to make friends drive like LA Noire). (I'm sorry for getting off topic but I used to have one and that dash brings back memories ) Anyways yeah I'd love to have a cockpit view cam for vehicals. Youd think after GTA IV and all the first person mods out there, Rockstar would make one! It's not that hard to do... Actually, know what? I think it MIGHT be in there after all. Remember in Franklin's trailer where it had the cockpit view inside the helicopter and you saw the whole panels and sh*t? Guest Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Hey did you know when you take a taxi in GTA4, select a destintion, then after the taxi starts driving flick the left stick down to change the destination but dont change you can ride to your 1st destination choice in 1st person driver view? I was playing TBOGT last night and in one mission the cutscene started with a view from 1st person driving and I seen my buddy in the passenger seat shooting out the window.
