Johan
I would get it if I were you, actually most GTA games are recommendable, Vice City Stories is a pretty good game, the story is kinda heart warming but not as much as IV of course. Apart from a few hard missions you'll enjoy it, and as JamalG stated, just like in the original Vice City you can build up your empire and take care of it like in San Andreas's turf wars. pentaxian
quite possibly the best handheld gta. gives you quite a bit of side content. a lot of cash to be made and burnt in this game. good fun, but i will admit that some missions can be tough. pentaxian
thanks if u havnt played the warriors for xbox360 or ps2 have a look at it ... i had the warriors for ps2. loved that game since you could do split screen co-op. it's also on psp but i think it's a bit different on there. if you haven't, try bully, probably my next favorite rockstar game after gta san andreas. i also suggest manhunt and manhunt 2. the original manhunt is more freakish, scary, and difficult though. but damn was that another memorable rockstar game from last gen. SegmentationFault
You should get this , especially if you liked the '80s atmosphere of vice city.In my opinion vcs has a more 80s sensation than vc , the soundtrack is just awesome , the graphics are the best gta series graphics in ps2 it also features bloom effects. Story wise it's good ( it tells the story of vic vance and it's a direct prequel to Vice City ) and the gameplay length is pretty big and has some excellent side jobs like beach patrol , the classic impound lists and classic gta stuff. It's worth every buck you'll give

GoldenBlade
You can swim, but only for a limited amount of time. Although, once you complete the Beach Patrol side missions, you get infinite lung capacity.

BabeRuth
Can u swim cus in sa u could Well you don't have lung-capacity. So you can't swim as long. Anyway.... you should get this game. Good story, graphics, & very colorful!

Good story, graphics, & very colorful! Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you get infinite lung capacity once you complete the Beach Patrol side missions? Also, I agree with BabeRuth about the game having a great story, great graphics, and being very colorful. At night, the city looks wonderful! GTA Phreak
Lung capacity has nothing to do with it! In VCS you can swim but you can't dive under water. From the beginning you have limited swimming stamina, once you run out of energy you drown. Once you complete "Beach Patrol" you will have infinite swimming stamina and you will not drown when swimming, but you can still "feed the fish" if you drive a car into the water and don't exit quick enough. Mr_Leone
Oh, most defiently. It really fits nicely compared to Vice City, and in my personal opinion, the Stories variant is better.
Arsen Vitiuk
My opinion is: get it. You won't regret it. Although yes, you can happen not to like it... But you should play it first to tell yourself for sure whether you like this game or not. Especially if you have the opportunity to buy it. This is worth is, as I view it. Space Cowboy
This game is a must buy for GTA fan. Plus it's very cheap these days, so there's no reason to not get it. Even if it costed 10 times than it costs now, even then I would say it's worth it.
radioman
I'm surprised these topics come up, as IF you have to ask that question, you have obviously never played a GTA game before?-lol As it is common sense for anyone who has played GTA, that the answer is automatically YES... The reason the Stories version is better than the original, is cause there are a lot more missions and the West Island is better utilized as compared to the original-ie. they have missions which are given from Fort Baxter(which the original never had), they had missions in Vice Port(which the only one VC had was the Boatyard asset), they had actual missions around Sunshine Autos(whereas VC only had the races and Imports there), missions in Downtown(other than just the 3 lovefist missions which VC had), Little Haiti and Little Havana was better utilized in this version, as well as some unused areas on the East Island as well. I think that it's really great on both consoles. The good thing about it being for PSP is that you can play an amazing game literally ANYWHERE. Same thing goes for LCS.
