If R* says this is a new universe and that means NO one from the past games are going to exist. Yes there was O.G. Loc CD's in GTA IV, however that was part of the series. GTA V is a fresh start meaning everyone is going to be new. And to be honest I don't really want past characters. Let the past stay in the past. Want to see Mad Dog's mansion? Go play GTA: SA. Rockstar says: El Burro is referenced as he was also referenced in GTA 1, so it felt appropriate that he should cross “universes” – the “universes” are the worlds interpreted at different definitions, 2d, 3d and high definition, so we felt brands and radio / back ground characters would exist in both, but 3 dimensional characters would not. This is the logic (as far as it could be considered logical) behind it – so no, we don’t believe any GTA3 characters could exist in the GTA4 universe. Brands, Cities, Car names and such will appear, and these characters may also be referenced with posters and such if they were famous like Madd Dogg was. So there may even be a reggae CD with Mad Lion (since Snoop Dogg - Mad Dogg, and now it's Snoop Lion.. so). But we won't meet any of those characters or see their homes as the whole city is reimagined from scratch. Vinewood sign must return as it's a real-life symbol of LA. Come on DODI3OG, we've had some nice words spoken between us. Don't annoy me by acting stupid. No modelled character from the 3D era can cross over into the HD universe. They can be referenced in graffiti, be on CD covers, on TV adverts, billboards etc. but they will not return in person, ever. Places, businesses, products & groups/gangs can cross universes as long as they aren't named after a 3D character (Love Media & Leone Family for example). The Families & The Ballas are based on the Bloods & Crips, so they do not break the rules I have just mentioned. Honestly, if you lot can't grasp this, then you never will & that's your problem. This is the last I'm going to say on the matter, because I don't want to get in an argument & pig headedness will do that. These aren't my rules, they're Rockstar's (the people who created these universes). So if you have a problem with them, send them a message. . Because every black man in LS is CJ now and every older character who sounds a bit mafioso is Tommy. The guy before me explained it all so I won't bother to repeat it, but if you can't grasp the concept then indeed your stupidity has no match. And just like the guy before me, this will be my last post on this as I do not wish to lower my own intelligence in order to be able to understand the way you think.
