ultrabowser
The more cheats available the better, in my opinion. I will not use any of them, but they allow experimentation on the consoles. Also after 800 hours of gameplay, I can imagine why people would want to use cheats. To go for another 100 hours of interesting time.
Kifflom112
I don't even understand why people need health If you can't understand that then I don't know what to say. I use health for repairing my car when it gets damaged while cruising. I don't just let a car I spent 30 minutes searching for get dinged up by the idiot drivers and what not because even when you try to drive like an AI, they still hit you. Anonamix
When I was young I would use cheats.. mostly for weapons and health. Now I am much more for the challenge and the role playing aspects so I don't/won't use ANY cheats, but I don't mind if they are in the game for other people. Just don't use them if you don't want to. DeafMetal
I hated the way they did it in San Andreas. It was packed with the armor cheat. If they DO introduce it, it should be its own cheat.

ViciousLuke
Yeah. It's your freedom of choice to choose if you want to use it or not. Sooner or later this kind of cheat will be released, just a matter of time. But just don't use it and that's all.
l911
i want crazy cheats like "Kangaro" or "3x Bang" "big heads" ... and maby a god mode but when you are in it you cant do missions (unless you already beat the game once ) it will be nice and fun

azali10
Cheats in general make many game restrictions obsolet so this cheat is like any other. I disagree. Other cheats don't ruin the gameplay, it's for extra fun. If you don't want to use cheats, you don't have to use it. No one said we are forced to use it. I agree with the money cheat though, it will be useless this time around. Yeah if I want to ruin my gameplay then let me ruin my f*cking gameplay. Who are you people to tell me how to play my game? To me it isn't ruining anything. It's enhancing my freeroam. And when I'm done i can go back, load my save, and everything is back to normal. GoldenBlade
I agree. The money cheat is one cheat that ruins the game. I don't see a point in doing anything in the game, if you're just gonna use the money cheat. It makes heists completely useless.

PutAQuarterIn
I'm a major cheater when it comes to GTA, and even I agree. As suggested in OP, it should at least not be a part of the health/armor cheat. I'm usually on that "don't like it, don't use it" train, but in this case the other cheats should be enough to make it easy to do the things to earn the money. I Luke
I agree, you shouldn't receive money when doing the health cheat because it doesn't make any sense. If anything, I'd like to see it in game but just as a cheat on it's own.
Backfire6
For me personally it depends on how easy it is to get money in it. Most of the other games was nearly impossible to get money without going on a rampage and mass murdering a bunch of peds just to spawn cash. Because you basically have to do that, or blow up a armored truck which was also a pain in the ass. Course in the other games money wasnt much of a big deal except for San Andreas where u had to buy so many things. The ones before it money was almost none nonexistent. michaelpece
I hate the health/armour/money cheat in GTA: SA - it gives you 250,000. I wanted to play it 'seriously' but still wanted to use the health/armour cheat, so I had to use a memory editor to remove the money it gave me ;_; (essentially hacking the game to reduce the money). Hope this isn't the case for GTA V as it would indeed be pointless.

Your not getting "money" when you spawn a car. Unless they add the feature to "sell" cars all the time in it to earn money for V. Which I highly doubt. A car is not currency which s something your debating about.
jaqulle999
There would be no one forcing you to use this cheat. If some people just want to go around and spend all there money and things and use cheats they should be allowed to.

mulder84
Money cheats need to go IMO. If this game is going to revolve so much around the pursuit of the almighty dollar, then why on earth would they put a money cheat in place? I think you're missing the point of the word "cheat" entirely... Cheats are obviously not gonna enhance the game in any way, that's why they're called cheats for a reason, same way cheating in a test won't enhance your learning experience. I say it should be in, if you don't like it you can don't use it anyway, but make it so like in RDR where there's penalties for doing so. That way I always have a savegame where I stick to the rules and another where I get all the crazy stuff I can buy and do all the crazy stuff I can do without repercussions. 98 in 1
As long as it's a cheat on it's own and not tied to another (like in San Andreas), then there shouldn't be a problem.
victm92
I think they won't put it: "Rockstar explained us that their intention with GTAV is make people to play the whole story. That in other games they left it half-finished, and they prefer to arse about around the city. [Missions/heists] have a very attractive incentive: they give a lot of money, and money will be more important in GTAV that "in any previous game"" Original: Rockstar nos explicó que su intención con GTA V es hacer que la gente juegue la historia al completo. Que en otros juegos la dejaban a medias, prefiriendo hacer el ganso por la ciudad [...] Aparte, tienen un incentivo muy atrayente: dan un montón de dinero, y el dinero será en GTA V "más importante que en ningún juego anterior". Racecarlock
I've just spent the past hour or so reading different site's previews of GTA V - and they all touch on the subject of money obviously playing a massive roll in the game. (As we all know by now anyway). It got me thinking, whilst yes we do want TONS of cheats like in the old days - one cheat I would happily see not make a return, is the '$50K' bonus when you do a health cheat - or the instant 10 Thousand Dollars cheats etc etc Money cheats need to go IMO. If this game is going to revolve so much around the pursuit of the almighty dollar, then why on earth would they put a money cheat in place? It was fine for past GTA games, I mean no one really asked for it - but we just took it. I mean - correct me if I'm wrong, but in past titles all it would of took is to do a simple money cheat at the very beginning of the game, and you'd have enough cash to keep you going until the end. In GTA V, there's so much to spend your money on (apparently), so I for one would rather explore the map and find treasure below the sea, work my ass off in the heists to gain money, beat up pedestrians or hookers like in the old days - to gain enough for a new gun etc What do you guys think? It just seems silly to me, if Rockstar are going to build this whole game's storyline around money AND give us tons of stuff to spend our money on - then does anyone else think they should seriously refrain from even considering putting a money cheat in? I know what some people might say 'if you don't want it, don't use it!' - and that's fair enough, but in the past we couldn't even do a simple Health or Armour cheat without automatically getting $50K slapped into our wallets, so IF they do want to put a money cheat in - at least keep it as a seperate cheat altogether so players like myself, and others, can experience the game for what it really is. Well, hey, I do agree with making it a separate cheat. Although I do recall SA being the only one that slapped a money cheat in with the health and armor cheat. Still, making it it's own cheat will still be better than just not having one.
