That pigeon sh*t in GTA IV was boring, a f**king joke and waste of ideas. Agreed I think I killed maybe.. 3-4. I sore a few but I couldn't be stuffed shooting them. This will require timing, stealth and creative hiding places like a bush, a car or a public toilet. The previews mentioned treasures underwater, so I reckon they will be limited and given check too. Hmmm, you could be onto something there. Rather then "Celebrities" you could have some along the lines of those Collectables. Taking pictures of Random Things, People.. What not could be a type of Collectable, what was that game.. Um, sh*t sh*t it wasssss.. Dead Rising! Wait it wasn't a collectable but they had some weird sh*t to take photos of to Unlock Things. I'm gonna sound like a total noob, but when was fishing confirmed? I saw on some of the threads they mentioned they saw people hunting and guys fishing as part of that recent preview, Throw in the Scuba gear and I am guessing at least spear fishing will more then likely be part of the game. lol Just an assumption but I think its logical. GTA SA had 3 or 4 different hidden things. so GTA V is alot bigger. that means we either get alot of different stuff to search for or really about 500 of the same kind. one of my ideas: -Hunting rare animals like there are unique animals all over the world and u have to shoot them ( or if u dont like too shoot them u just make a photo of them) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

meson1 Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 There was nothing wrong with shooting pigeons. What sucked was the lack of rewards for doing so. People say that you got the Annihilator after you killed all 200, but I never found that at all. In my experience the only time you got the Annihilator was when you completed the story missions; never any time else. But in of itself killing pigeons or seagulls as a collectible activity was just fine. I do expect GTA:V to have some kind of collectible activity. I'm sure it'll be quite creative and in keeping with the theme of the game. I doubt we'll be shooting stuff this time though. I just hope they include decent rewards as you progress this time. That's a good idea, maybe Briefcases. But I doubt the whole collectable thing would return, but that would be very rewarding though. I like the idea of making the collectibles rewarding(even though 100% completion is a tradition). Maybe briefcases. Sometimes including pink slips to cars, or vouchers on weapon upgrades. Another collectible could be unique QR codes that you photograph with your iFruit and it links you to unique hackable website that deal with cash-flow. On the website you are able to hack the site and transfer funds to your own account. Or something like that.. I'd love a return of tagging but I'd welcome something new like.. Hidden CDs. For every 5 CDS you collect, you unlock a new track on a radio station. Hidden treasure chests will be in the sea or something similar. If you could photograph 30 unique fish, that would be cool. When you go home you email them to USALS (University San Andreas, Los Santos) for examination and they pay you huge cash for the field work. I'd love to see something cooler and more humorous like hidden pogs. They can be found around Los Santos in trash cans and alleyways. Oh sh*t that's sick. Unfortunately, one of the reviews said: (sorry no fishing.) I wished we had a fishing minigame tbh, but oh well. I hope they're wrong and we can fish. Only some of the latest features even mentioned any fishing, they also only mentioned they saw peds doing it, but one of them turned that into "we can fish", I'm not holding out on that one tbh.
